Cool campsite if you don't mind no luxury, Dusty and rocky ground. Great deal, well worth the about 15 euros per nighr for 2 people, two dogs, a tent and a car,

Besides the rough natural scenery with breathtaking views from cliffs, everything is there:

Plenty of space for tents, campers and/or caravans, one-temperature showers, toilets, washing areas, one coin washing machine, fireplaces to cook or barbecue, a tennis court and even a rugby field (with hard dry grass). Many platane trees have recently been planted so hopelly more shady spots in the future.

Due to risk of forest fires unfortunately no camping allowed in the very first part on the left under the pine trees. The municipal police who usually come to check in the morning will tell you to move on and will give a fine if you don't so better not put up your tent there, wasted energy.

Stone beach within walking distance and if you're into climbing rocks a bit you can also get into the beautiful cristal clear water from the cliffs right outside the fence in front of the campsite, even older people do this but avoid if you're drunk or travelling with daredevil-like kids who love to escape and enjoy walking on edges and doing extreme things, some of the rocks off track are fragile and easily break off. Accidents happened here, fatal ones...

Awesome place if you're into hiking, scuba diving and snorkeling; the national marine park is right out there, also excellent wine in this area and feng shui paradise for beginners; flat rocks and stones all...

Les employés sont gentils et la vue magnifique, mais c'est globalement tout ce que ce camping a pour lui.

Pour une personne à pied avec une tente, c'est un vrai calvaire ! Lorsque j'ai fait ma réservation, j'ai confirmé trois fois avec la dame les horaires de la navette depuis Cerbère, mais on a oublié de me préciser qu'il n'y en avait pas le samedi après-midi ! Vous le saurez, la route Cerbère-Peyrefite est en pente et n'a pas de chemin pour les piétons, j'ai dû longer la bande d'arrêt d'urgence pour arriver. J'ai appelé 6 fois le camping avant qu'ils ne répondent et le monsieur avait un ton "je-m'en-foutiste", pas très agréable, donc. Début compliqué, et même une fois arrivée, globalement, je constate un "manque" partout.

Voici les informations dont vous pourrez avoir besoin, que je n'ai pas pu avoir auprès des employés : Navette depuis Cerbère devant la mairie à 11h30, 11h45, 16h et 17h30, mais pas de navette le samedi après-midi et le dimanche. Le terrain est un genre de sable/caillou, difficile pour planter la tente et pas très confortable. La réception n'a pas de marteau à prêter. Pas de trousse de secours non plus à la réception, ne comptez pas sur eux si vous avez besoin de biafine ou de pansements/désinfectant. Il est écrit "frigo commun" sur le site, mais se trouvant à la réception, il n'est à accessible qu'entre 9h et 19h. Laverie du village des Aloès: ouvert 9h-18h, mais fermé le mercredi et dimanche (lessive 7€ et sèche linge 5€) (je suis, bien évidemment, arrivée devant la laverie fermée, car la réception ne connaissait pas les horaires) -Commande de taxi possible auprès de la réception, demande immédiate, rapide et efficace. Mais une fois encore, on a oublié de me préciser que le taxi ne prenait pas la carte... Il y a un petit bar avec des paninis, des snacks et des boissons à l'intérieur du camping. Ouvert tous les jours entre 8h et 12h, et entre 16h et 22h. Le couple qui tient l'affaire est gentil et de bons conseils, peut être le vrai point positif de ce lieu.

Bref, de manière générale un sentiment constant de "choses à moitié faites" et "d'effort minimum". Je pense que les clients en voiture auront moins de galères que ceux qui comptent sur les transports en communs, et j'imagine le séjour bien agréable pour ceux qui ont un camping-car. Le lieu reste superbe, les randonnées sympas et l'eau d'un bleu éclatant, c'est juste dommage que l'organisation du camping soit à revoir. This is a campsite, not a campervan carpark masquerading as a campsite. It more for tents, but there are places for vans. There are also a few bungalows. It's basic. There's a cafe and the facilities are basic too. It's very noisy,.... sadly! The receptionist went out of her way to help me. Very kind! It seems to be very busy in high season. I was told the place was full. However, when I took a walk around that evening, there were plenty of empty spots. I asked for 1 night . So, if you come here, check, don't just believe what you are told. Perhaps the computer system isn't working well in reception. Another sad point is that the best places near the sea cliff are...
