What a wonderful place! The hosts bent over backwards to make us welcome! We arrived with a baby and while they had no equipment for babies, they accepted us and helped us feel at home. The suite we booked was grandiose, incredibly spacious and well-decorated. The in-room jaccuzzi was perfect. The bed was very big and very comfortable. The pool was lovely and we had it all to ourselves as it was so quiet. The little stream is idyllic and the garden is a peaceful haven. I asked for a beauty treatment usually not offered and the host made every effort to find someone who could come especially. I was very impressed with their desire to please each client.||We had very particular food requirements (very complicated restrictions) and Sandrine exceeded our expectations in accommodating out request. We really appreciated the effort that went into making our special meals (which turned out very nicely indeed). If you are looking for a quiet getaway in top quality accommodation, don't hesitate for one second......
Read moreWe stayed here for 3 days with family so that we could attend a family wedding at the nearby chateau. Cendrine could not have been more helpful and welcoming. She speaks perfect English and was really great at understanding what we needed and providing a lovely chilled vibe. The house is lovely and peaceful with large light rooms with high ceilings and huge showers. There’s a great tranquil indoor pool which is exactly the right temperature and perfect for lengths and a wonderful hot tub with loads of features.||||There are only 6 rooms and we had the whole first floor to ourselves for family. Similarly here was little atmosphere in the hotel and it sometimes felt as if we were not welcome to sit around there, rather we should be out of the hotel or in our rooms.||It was he service we were most disappointed by - the owner was not very welcoming at all, and in fact verging on rude. Our room was not tidied at all in between days and we had to pay for additional coffee capsules after the first one.||Finally, the price was expensive compared to what we felt would be reasonable...
