We stayed for 1 week in July 2016, and had an amazing time.. We stayed in the gite in the courtyard as I am disabled (wheelchair user) and it was perfect for me The place was spotlessly clean and the bed and lounge seats were very comfortable. There is a large bathroom en suite with a high WC and a wet room shower, the kitchen units were a good height for me and the appliances were new. The outside space was a terrace with a table and benches and we parked right at the door. Across the grass yard there was a great ramp up to the main house and garden where the pool was situated. We had a 3-course dinner and a barbecue on 3 nights of our stay which was great fun as there were guests staying in the house and we all ate together outside when the weather was good and the food was delicious . Our hosts Evert Jan and Therese spoke excellent English and were so pleasant and welcoming our stay was over too soon and we would love to go again, This was our first trip to this area and it is picturesque and beautifully quiet, perfect...
Read moreOur stay at Chateau Latour was an absolute pleasure. We were driving from Paris to Nice, and had booked a single night with Thérèse and Evert Jan at the hotel. We arrived a little early, and our room was not quite ready, so we spent our afternoon reading books by the big pool in their garden. The atmosphere of the place is amazing, and the hospitality of the two hosts are like nothing you would experience in a "normal" hotel.||||In the evening we had our dinner served outside in their garden, together with the rest of the quests in the hotel. The food was great (you can really taste that cooking is a hobby of Evert Jan), and we stayed at the table long into the evening. Breakfast was also served outside in the morning sun. All in all it was a perfect break from an otherwise hectic holiday, and we really enjoyed it!||||Regards, Martin (33)...
Read moreWe stayed one night here and wished we'd stayed for more. We were warmly welcomed. The room was amazing. Clean and beautiful - perfectly maintained and looked after 17th century house, with incredible architecture, features and wonderful objects. There's a well maintained swimming pool in the beautifully peaceful garden. Our children were warmly welcomed too, and played in the garden, in the pool and on the trampoline. The beds were big and comfy, the shower modern, spotless and powerful. We ate outside in the evening, a simple yet sustaining meal, in good company under a clear sky, the sun setting. Breakfast was also served outside and was hearty and sustaining. We bought a bottle of the owner's wine which we'd had the night before - delicious. All in all, I couldn't fault Chateau Latour and would love to go back and spend...
