Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Set in an absolutely gorgeous setting with stunning French countryside views. The house itself is full of charm, beautifully presented and much bigger than it seems from the photos. The same goes for our rooms, which were really comfortable and incredibly spacious. Both Michelle and Philippe are so warm, friendly and ideal hosts - I'm so grateful to them for their kindness. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area, especially if you like walking and exploring the outdoors. I am delighted to have discovered this treasure and hope to go...

Point de départ d'une superbe randonnée à vélo, de Cercy la Tour à Gien le long des canaux, j'aurais bien prolongé notre séjour dans ce lieu charmant auprès d'hôtes si accueillants. L'impression immédiate de séjourner "en famille", déjà relevée dans d'autres commentaires, est bien réelle. La passion partagée des chevaux n'a fait que renforcer ce sentiment. La naissance d'un poulain, au cours de notre apéritif d'accueil a transformé un moment de convivialité chaleureuse en instant magique, inoubliable. Les chambres, spacieuses, agréables sont bien loin des chambres d'hôt-els; chacune vous conte, à sa façon, la saga familiale au gré d'objets personnels ou d'albums photos passionnants. Les repas, pris en commun et composés de mets goûteux mais sans chichis, sont l'occasion d'échanges riches et plein d'humour entre les différents convives. On quitte le haras de Coddes en se disant "à bientôt", on ne sait pas quand mais...

I loved the proximity of hourses and being in the countryside. Old mansion with traditional interiors. The only thing I did not like was that rooms did not lock, however the hosts made us feel safe. We were there for a wedding and they adjusted to our needs,...
