Première Classe Chateauroux Saint Maur — Hotel in Châteauroux

The room (31) smells of cigarettes.||Frequently I could smells cigarette smoke in the room when someone must have been smoking near by.||The floor was a disgusting vinyl floor.||The bed was not supportive and I hardly slept at all.||It was not quiet, lots of noise.||No where to put your towel in the Tiny bathroom.||The shutter to block the light was broken and there was a bright light right outside.||The bed linen was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The car park was secure and there were plenty of spaces available.||Very close to the major trunk roads Route National and there was a supermarket Lidl and fast food chain McD 1.5 km’s...

I stayed here for the 3d time and I am partly satisfied with the hotel.||However, there is a recurring problem, the air conditioning/heating never works.||This cannot be a coincidence, but is probably due to a misguided way of austerity. Running a hotel with low prices can be difficult, so shutting down large power consumers can help. However, this kind of austerity can not be good if the temperatures rise above 30 degrees in summer and stay well above 20/25 degrees at night. A small hotel room is not a pleasant environment in which to sleep properly, even with a window open.||Shame and room for immediate...

We had our trip turned upside down, as we were supposed to fly to CDG but in BCN we got hammered by a protest and well the whole story does not matter. We ended up renting a car and driving to Paris instead and pulled off and stayed at this place. The price was fabulous !!!||The service was excellent and the sleep was needed big time.||The room was smallish and the bathroom straight out of the 80's and very boat like, but kind of cute in it's own way.||And the price was fab at under 53 Euros for my wife and I and...
