Lovely B&B in the middle of nowhere…not really… it's in the heart of the Ardene region, surrounded by fields and close to the Vosge Natural Park. But it's so quiet and tranquil, one wonders how we can survive our busy city lives. ||The lady of the house, Micheline, was very welcoming, showing us around the house and the garden. Our room was great, with a mezzanine with 2 single beds and another single downstairs. The bathroom was clean with lovely colour touches on matching toiletries, towels and robes; she had put a thought into everything. The garden was a bit higgledy piggledy, with all sorts of containers with plants and solar lights, gravel paths and benches, but it surely had its own charm and offered a beautiful spot to listen to the sound of birds and the soft noises of the farms around.||The continental breakfast was very nicely presented, with a good mixture of homemade jams, cakes, coffee, yoghurt, juice, croissants. Their attention to detail is second to non and they are well travelled themselves and knowledgeable about the entire area as well as neighbouring countries, so much so that they helped us with itineraries for every day to champagne houses, building, towns and places of interest, eateries and days out...we had so much to do we are going back next year to finish it as there was just so much to see and enjoy !!! We are a couple in our early 40's with a 13 year old daughter and never were bored !! We have booked the same room again !
