Highly recommended accommodation, we spent two wonderful nights here. Pauline and Paul were very nice people. I love the warmth of a wood burning fire in the evenings. In the morning, Pauline made a rich and delicious breakfast for us. We had delicious bread with crispy crust and delicious pound cake (Pauline made it herself!), along with coffee, tea, elderflower&peach raspberry jam, and freshly made kiwi salsa in the morning. We had a wonderful time staying in Pauline’s house. The interior is very beautiful and we are lucky that withered on other guest at the time we stay, we feel really relax during these two days. The breakfast is one of the highlight as well, the chocolate pound cake that Pauline made herself is very tasty, and the tea and juice in the house are nice. Il n’est pas chose aisée de procurer autant de bonheur en un seul lieu. L’endroit est idéal, perdu un cœur d’une campagne sans artifices et aux surprenantes couleurs, senteurs, reflets. Terrain de jeu naturel des enfants avides de grands espaces.
La maison est un fabuleux projet de restauration d’une ancienne grange, et écuries. La qualité des matériaux, la décoration soignée et pointue et les petits détails qui nous apparaissent comme une évidence en font un endroit unique, chaleureux et hors du temps.
Les petits déjeuners préparés par Pauline sont une ode à la délicatesse et à la gourmandise. Dans de jolies vaisselles, nous découvrons chaque matin une véritable poésie. Babka maison, fromage blanc de la ferme, figue du jardin, cake aux épices. Dans la torpeur du petit matin, la maison embaume. Le soir venu, c’est autour d’un feu de bois que petits et grands s’abandonnent aux jeux de sociétés. Autour d’un verre de vin de la région où d’un délicieux thé. Le temps s’arrête.
