Brit Hotel Confort Azur Cholet Nord — Hotel in Cholet

My husband booked this hotel for us for one night during our visit to France to watch the Tour de France. What a fantastic hotel - such a novel idea. The rooms are set in blocks which are all themed on different countries. We were in Egypte - which is our favourite holiday destination! The rooms are basic but very comfortable - a choice of double or twin bed, a walk in shower/wet room and a small wardrobe, TV and if required free Wifi . Lovely grassy areas and two comfortable garden chairs to sit out and enjoy the sun. Right next door is a McDonalds and whilst breakfast isn't included in the price - they do a nice breakfast for Euro 7. There is plenty of parking and the gate is locked but accessed by a security number which you are given with your room key. The location isn't brilliant and we never got out to explore so can't say what is available. However on our journey home we passed through Cholet which is a sprawling town with potentially plenty of places to eat - Buffalo Grill wasn't too far away.||||All in all thoroughly recommended and if we return to the Vendee in the future we will definitely book this...

The hotel has it's own parking lot which is closed from 22:00, you receive a code to enter. The room is clean, the bed is very confortable and big, like in a 5* hotel. Bathroom is clean and in good shape, i missed only the toiletries, there is only liquid soap. You can buy some at the reception (toothpaste, toothbrush, shaving foam, razor). "Travel light" is not ideal. The breakfast was ok, basic but fair enough. I disagree with the "quiet room" opinions. A great place for us as it was on the route of the tour de France. The only problem that we had at the time was EVERYTHING shut down because of it. Even McDonald's!!!|The hotel itself is a nice new hotel in little bungalows very clean, comfortable and spacious. Nothing to write home about but perfect for our needs.||Negative point thought. It's not in cholet! That is a 10min car journey away. We didn't really have time to explore the surrounding area too much but from what we did there wasn't too much.
