Firstly, you ate staying in the middle of vineyards in the heart of typical Alsace landscapes , which is so much better than being placed in one of touristy always busy towns. secondly, the location is just ideal to discover all main attractions , so you are sure to be close to every place you want to visit.

We spend two nights at Domaine du Bouxhof and it was amazing. We think it’s the most gorgeous place to stay in the Elzas. You have some quiet time in between the vineyards and it’s easy to get to Riquewihr and Ribeauvillé and do several wine tastings - and of course don’t forget to taste some of their wines. The family are great hosts and helped us with everything we needed. Thanks & we definitely will recommend this place to family...

Sommes passés hier à la cave pour acheter quelques unes des bouteilles restant en stock, car d'ici peu Jean-Michel EDEL et son épouse Gillian cesseront leur activité de vente de vin tout en conservant les Chambres d'hôtes au DOMAINE du BOUXOF mondialement connu, car surtout chargé d'histoire !... Lors d'une dégustation, nous vous conseillons notamment les Grands crus MANDELBERG qui restent à la carte !!! Profitez-en vite, car comme on dit il n'y en aura plus pour tout le monde ... Excellents vins dont la réputation n'est plus à faire !!!! Et qui plus est ci-dessous une photo de 2003 où l'on me retrouve à la cave en compagnie de Jean-Michel et de son papa pour ceux qui l'ont connu !!! Que de souvenirs et d'amitié durant tant d'années ... Merci pour tout Jean-Michel...
