Les Rondins de la Fecht - Chambres d'hôtes — Hotel in Colmar-Ribeauvillé

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel as a little stop on our roadtrip. We booked it, as it was close to a hiking route we did. We were somewhat surprised (we did not do much investigation beforehand) when we drove to the middle of nowhere and were nicely welcomed by a young couple (they do speak German). The room we got was spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom was spacious as well and had an amazing shower. Beforehand we were asked if we’d like to have to dinner and if we are on any special diet (gluten, vegetarian and vegan friendly) and we decided to have dinner. The dinner was served on a long table with all other guests and the hosts. It was a 4 course dinner, made with local produce or even produce from the garden. We felt very much at home, talking to everyone and enjoying the amazing homemade meal. The beds in the room were amazing and are hight adjustable. In the morning we had nicely prepared breakfast, again with homemade jams and yoghurt. We felt at home in a remote area. Stop searching - this is the place you want. The chalet is so warm and cosy, we instantly knew we had made the right choice. The beds are very comfortable and can be angled electronically to your preferred position. The hosts are beyond attentive to their guests and no need to go outside for dinner - the in-house dinner option is worthy of any high class restaurant. The location is also perfect for those coming for nature walks and hiking.

Notre séjour au chalet d'Alexis et Aurélie était parfait! Ce sont des hôtes au top : authentiques, chaleureux et très professionnels, ils veillent à ce que l'on se sente parfaitement à l'aise et que l'on ne manque de rien. Le chalet est situé en pleine nature, près de la forêt et de la rivière, et il est impeccable. Le cadre est idéal pour se détendre, avec de superbes randonnées à faire juste à côté. Quant aux repas, ils sont vraiment délicieux! Aurélie et Alexis proposent une cuisine maison, avec des produits frais et locaux. Un moment convivial qui termine magnifiquement chaque journée.
