Camping Campita — Hotel in Corte

What a surprise it was for me to end up at this camping site by chance as it was getting late and I need a place to stay for 1 night.

The story seems to be it is run by Romain with the aid of his brother Luca and his father Jean-marc and it is the second year.

The pitches are were ever you like, in the shade of the trees and if you are lucky right on the river. It's clean, tidy has a bar at the pool and even a compost which never seen before.

It's has a train station not far away and my buddy was able to take a train to Courte on the line Bastia-Ajacio as he had no transport.

ALL of this makes it a very good campsite.

Now the thing that makes it special is the family. The friendliness and how happy they are to help you out if you are in need. Here this family exceeds and I thank them for it.

Needless to stay I came back and stayed another 4 nights a few days later.

This campsite is located between the mountains in a beautiful forest. The campsite is somewhat remote and very basic. You occasionally hear a train but that is not a nuisance. There is a nice new pool and a nice river. The owners have created a simple terrace with drinks and snacks by the pool. The sanitary facilities are minimal (cold shower) but that has its charm. Wir waren im Jahr 2007 hier und waren restlos begeistert. Der damalige Besitzer sprach gut deutsch und hatte für uns ein Gite für zehn Tage Aufenthalt. Durch die Nähe zum Fluss (Golo: sehr kalt, da aus dem Gebirge gespeist) auch für Familien geeignet. Von Unfreundlichkeit keine Spur wie andere hier berichteten. Preise je nach Aufenthaltsdauer. Ab einer Woche mit 420€ für ein Gite (z.B. Nr1: 45qm, zwei Schlafzimmer, Küche und Bad, Terrasse... ) Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nur mit PKW möglich. Von hier aus sehr guter Start in alle Richtungen von Korsika. Die Golo Schlucht bei Corte nur zu empfehlen zum Wander und Baden, auch für Kinder).Auch Corte selbst ist ein toller Ort zum Bummeln, einkaufen. Tolle, kleine Bäckerei für leckere, echte französische Croissants und Brötchen in Ponte Leccia, genau an der Hauptstrassen Kreuzung der T20/T30. Auch der Supermarkt ist gut sortiert hier und bietet alles an. Auto von Vorteil, da zu Fuss keine Einkäufe möglich. Kein Restaurant oder Shop auf dem Campingplatz. Dieses Jahr 2018 sind wir für zwei Wochen im Gite Nr1 mit unserer siebenjährigen Tochter. Schon die Buchung war wieder sehr professionell und der Chef selbst hat sich darum gekümmert und uns nach Deutschland zurück gerufen. Einfach grandios und verspricht ein weiteres Highlight auf Korsika zu werden. Wer hier Urlaub bucht, hat Natur pur und erlebt Korsika wie es wirklich ist.
