Chambres d'Hôtes et Roulottes Le Clos du Quesnay — Hotel in Dieppe

Upon our arrival my husband and I received a warm and friendly welcome from our hosts, Sabine and Jean Francois. This hardworking couple have done an amazing job, restoring a large stone farmhouse and creating a beautiful surrounding property, upon which they have planted 9,000 trees. We were fortunate to have a delicious dinner there on our first night, which featured fruit (apples) from their trees and Neufchatel cheese from the region. Breakfasts were very generous and also featured homemade breads, freshly made pancakes, homemade jams, cheese, juice, hot chocolate, coffee, tea, and fruit from the garden. From the many apple trees on the property Jean Francois produces Calvados, cider, and apple juice. All were delicious. Both Sabine and Jean Francois made excellent suggestions for places to visit in the Haute Normandie region. Our room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We needed to be in the area and our gite wasn't available until Monday so spent Sunday night here. The grounds are lovely and we had a stroll around to stretch legs after a long journey. As it was Sunday we couldn't eat here (maybe next time!) but Sabine and Maurice booked an excellent restaurant for us in Forges les Eaux.||Our room was delightful, very quiet and with lots of the little touches that make chambres d'hotes so good.||Breakfast was excellent with a wonderful selection of home made breads, jams and cakes. We have stayed here annually for a one night stopover on our return home from our holiday in the South of France. This was possibly our 8th stay. We have always thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Sabine and Jean-Francois. They are so welcoming. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the breakfast is very good.
