Carwyns Surf House — Hotel in District of Dax

Most definitely the best trip ever! I’ve travelled worldwide in some of the most beautiful places and nothing can even come close to Carwyns Surf House!!

The chill vibe, the diversity and the greatness of the people you meet there and Carwyns sense of hospitality. He makes you feel at home, like family and u easily make friends with everyone during BBQ at night.

The house is amazing. It has a beautiful garden, a very nice pool area with a BBQ, bikes available, surf boards, an outside shower under palm trees and cool surfing paintings on the walls. My room had a balcony with a comfy couch and a hamac.

Food is delicious. Most nights he and his wife Jane would home cook and prepare delicious meal as we ate all together, chatted and laughed all night long next to the pool.

Surfing spots around are great, probably the best in Europe from beginners to top surfers.

I spent a week at Carwyns and what can I say, I feel like a new dog. Carwyns place is a slice of heaven. He's the most welcoming, fun human I've ever met - he took me on barefoot walks in the forest in the morning and was nice enough to drive me to beautiful beaches in the afternoon. My dad made some incredible progress as a first time surfer. After the beach, I put my paws up by the pool. Carwyn's place felt like a second home, he was so welcoming we felt like we were visiting a friend instead of staying at a hotel. I made so many new friends from all over the world, super Mario, the Swiss family Robinson, and some cool people from Wales. They introduced me to my new favourite beverage, Welsh tea. I had a really nice stay at the Surf House! Carwyn and Jane are great hosts and make you feel at home right away (greating you with a nice cold beer!). There really is a homely atmosphere and everybody is treated like famlily/ friends. ||||The house is great and the best part is the outside space, where you can find the bar and pool. Really nice for hanging out, beers, dinner and/ or meeting people and entertaining for the night time. Rooms are basic and nice, just with everything you need. ||||The area is also great for the wide variety of beaches you can go to, Carwyn can advise you really well on beaches, surfing and activities!
