The room was good value for the price, but the poor service and terrible breakfast overshadowed the good memories of this unique Michelin-starred restaurant/accommodation.||We stayed two nights in a loft room, which was nice. The bed was particularly large and comfortable and the bath was lovely.||||However, the list of problems with the service began immediately and saw us through to our departure. We were not told of the jacuzzi or sauna and only found out by searching the website ourselves then asking to use them. We had to book a time slot, which was fine. The first time we used the jacuzzi the water looked an odd colour. The next day, just before our time-slot, we received a call from management saying our booking had been cancelled as there was a problem with the water quality.||||When a cleaner finally arrived in the late afternoon of the second day, only the towels were changed. Nothing was cleaned, the overflowing bin was not emptied, the toilet paper not topped up – we ran out before we left - and the tissue box left empty as it had been when we arrived, ||||Breakfast on the first morning was nice but on the second was a farce. The pastries, which were the main element of breakfast, were burnt crispy. When I asked to replace one I was at first haughtily told that this was how pastries were made. It turned out that nothing was taken off the bill.||||It was abundantly clear that this establishment was indifferent towards guests accommodated there, and only concerned itself about the lunches and dinners that gave it its Michelin star credibility.||||Nice to eat here but don’t...
