Hotel le Verger Maelvi — Hotel in Draguignan

What a wonderful place! Not only is it beautiful, tranquil, charming, but the hosts are just lovely! A bit of background to give you some credentials: I have come to the Cote D'Azur and especially Grimaud and Port Grimaud since 1974! That's a long time. However, lately - that is the past 10 or 15 years - we haven't come that much. Why? Because we felt it is very expensive and for that price the people just weren't friendly. Lots of annoyed reactions, aloof attitudes. Not pleasant.||Not here! Anja and her family are just wonderful. Anja ist German, her husband French and her son, Maxime, speaks German, French and English very well. So does his mother by the way. Anja told me that when they bought the place, Maxim quickly discovered: "That's what I want to do with my life". How wonderful is this? A young man who find his vocation and lives it? Don't we all dream of that? And it shows. Maxime is a perfect host, gentleman and a lovely person. His father introduced himself as "the gardener" - what gentle and humble an attitude. And Anja is just a wonderful, beautiful woman. So loving...|| I don't know about you, but for me, that's more important than whether the right cheese is available at breakfast (which it is!), or the beds are good (which they are!). We felt like part of the family right away... Thank you so much for making us...

I was looking for a beautiful and peaceful boutique hotel away from the August crowds but close enough to visit a lot of the interesting touristic spots on the Cote d'Azur. Hotel Le Verger Maelvi delivered well beyond our expectations. It is a heaven of peace set in beautifully landscaped gardens on 15 minutes from all the main attractions. The pool is fabulous. The ambiance is incredibly peaceful and Zen. It is owned and run by a delightful family. Anja, her husband and Maxime could not do more to make sure their guests are happy at all times. Maxime, their son is literally spending all day working to meet all theirs guests' wishes and wants, always smiling and kind . The food they provide is incredibly fresh and well presented. The rooms themselves are lovely, all individually furnished and decorated. The bathrooms are simply stunning. It is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into every single detail about this hotel: the decoration, the gardens, the furniture, the atmosphere created, the food etc. I really could not find a single thing I thought could be improved. Thank you all at the Verger Maelvi for a wonderful and unforgettable holiday. My mother, my husband and I can't wait to come...

Our stay at Hotel Le Verger Maelvi was truly exceptional in every way. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome, thanks to the warm and attentive hospitality. The hotel is beautifully located in a peaceful, natural setting, yet just a short drive from stunning beaches and excellent restaurants. Our room was spacious, individually decorated with great charm, and featured high-quality linens and one of the most comfortable mattresses we've ever slept on.

The entire property is a little oasis – the garden is lovingly maintained, offering plenty of space to relax, and even includes a well-equipped small gym. Breakfast was another highlight, with a wide and delicious selection that left nothing to be desired.

And of course, we absolutely fell in love with the two resident cats, Yoshi and Marcel, who add so much personality to the place.

A thank you goes to the entire team and particularly to Maxime, the heart of the hotel – always available, genuinely caring, and incredibly thoughtful. He anticipates every wish and makes every guest feel truly welcome.
