villa plein sud — Hotel in Draguignan

Villa Plein Sud has 2 Chambres D'hotes rooms and they also have apartments. My review is only about our Chambres D'Hotes room. The owners have only been here for 14 months so there is a fair bit of 'tweeking' to do. It is not somewhere I would choose to stay again. Although we had the full address there was no sign outside with name of the Villa which meant we were unsure if we were at the right place and trying to get an answer from the intercom was impossible. We were assured a sign was being made, but surely a printed computer sign would have been better than nothing! The owners are lovely and very helpful but they need to get organised. Our room was tiny with a very small shower room and separate toilet. These have been recently fitted and were clean (although the electrics blew when using the lights and a hairdryer at the same time), There is a TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a small fridge which was very useful (although we were only here for one night). The pool is very small and is used by all guests and again clean although not much space for relaxing by if all guests wanted to use the pool at the same time. The room was at the back of the property in the corner and the temperature outside was in the high 20'sC. The room had one very small fan (either on or off) which made no impact on the warmth in the room. We had a very hot and uncomfortable night and were reduced to opening the patio doors to let in cooler air (no other windows), this made us feel vulnerable from a security point of view from both intruders and any insects! We arranged breakfast for 9am this was a bit hit and miss. Nothing much was ready and orange juice had to be sent out for which we were then waiting for although we had finished our breakfast! So the room needs a bigger wall fan and/or locking mosquito net doors. The biggest disapointment was the amount of building materials left around. We had bags of cement and boxes of tiles around our table at breakfast. We also had to walk across their patio with washing and household items strewn about to get to the breakfast patio. Although good off road and secure parking the edge of the parking area was full of house rubble from tiles and general building works. They state a 10 minute walk to the beach, maybe if you're fit and able but not with kids and beach items and coming back is all up hill and certainly would take more than 10 minutes! I want to be fair as this is a new venture and they are very nice people. If they get more organised and clear up the building works as they go it could be a nice place. Ich bin zusammen mit meiner Freundin eine Woche in einem B&B (Bed & Breakfast) Zimmer gewesen. ||Das Zimmer war klein aber fein, mit sehr viel liebe eingerichtet und auch ausgestattet. Es war alles sehr sauber und im sehr guten Zustand. ||Wir hatten kostenloses WLAN auf dem ganzen Grundstück und konnten den Pool als auch den Jacuzzi als Besucher nutzen. ||Morgens gab es ein süßes Frühstücksbuffet mit viel Obst und auch Müsli oder Fruchtjoghurt, mir gefiel die Auswahl sehr. Kaffee, Tee, Milch und Orangensaft gab es auch so viel wie wir wollten. ||Die Inhaberin führt noch dazu ein kleines Nagelstudio im Haus, wo man sich als Gast die Nägel machen lassen kann für einen fairen Preis. Ich habe dies gemacht und kann es nur empfehlen!||Zum Strand braucht man zu Fuß 10 Minuten, mit dem Auto maximal 3. Direkt am Strand findet man auch zahlreiche Shops, Restaurants und Einkaufsläden für Lebensmittel. Der Weg wieder zurück geht sehr steil bergauf, aber die Sicht von oben, lässt einen die Anstrengung wieder vergessen. :)||Wir sind auch 2 Tage in Saint-Tropez gewesen. Dort kommt man mit einem Bus der ca. 20-30 Minuten fährt schnell hin und es kostet auch nicht viel. Die Bushaltestelle ist unten in der Stadt.||Die Nächte in Cavalaire-sur-mer haben jedoch ihren Preis, wir haben pro Nacht jeder 80€ bezahlt (frühstück exklusive), aber es ist eben die Côte-á-zur. ||Alles in einem hatten wir den schönsten Urlaub seit Jahren und haben uns super wohl gefühlt in der Villa Plain Sud.||Nur...

Séjour sous le stress. Dès notre arrivée, Mme VINCENT, la propriétaire nous a clairement exprimé tous les interdits, Ne pas faire, Attention à ... et surtout A Faire lorsque l'on part, le nettoyage complet car selon Mme VINCENT les locataires avant nous, n'avaient pas nettoyé sous lit, derrière le canapé, nous étions donc Prévenus!!! Pas de bienvenue, nous avons compris que nous étions chez elle! Heureusement que la maison est bien située proche de la ville et de la mer. Nos enfants étaient constamment surveillés, pas le droit de bouger! de jouer ou de rire, surtout pas de bruit, silence complet leur a dit Mme VINCENT. l'espace aquatique comme elle l'annonce est selon nous trop petit pour accueillir les locataires, pas suffisamment de transat et proche de la piscine car pas de place pour les mettre ailleurs de ce fait ceux qui nagent éclaboussent forcement ceux qui se reposent sur les transats. Attention les enfants Mme VINCENT surveillent... car son onglerie est justement située à côté de la piscine, les clientes passent devant nous qui sommes sur les transats, détente assurée!!! imaginez vous sur un transat et le va et vient avec les clientes ! c'est relaxant!!! des vacances si attendus, 1200kms faits pour trouver le repos, transformées en Stress. Heureusement que notre famille et amis étaient avec nous et que nous avons passé plus de temps à l'extérieur que dans la villa pour éviter les débordements et cette surveillance constante que nous...
