Lovely site in a good location, shame about the incorrect information given, lack of welcome and lack of on site support When I booked this site, the website informed me that the swimming pool was open until early November. When I booked I received a confirmation, which also stated that on the dates booked, we would be able to enjoy the tropical heated swimming pool. It was for this reason that I had booked this site in the first place - as it was one of very few along this coastline that had a pool open at that time of year. On arrival the site is pleasant looking and clean and in a nice location. Unfortunately in terms of welcome I can only give the site 1 star at best. We were asked to arrive between 2:30pm and 5:30pm or let the site know that we couldn't. We arrived at 2:30pm and located reception, which was closed. There was no one around at all. On the reception door, I noted 2 telephone numbers that said please call these numbers if we are not here. I tried one number and it just rang out. I tried the second and it rang out and but then the call was disconnected. I tried a 2nd and 3rd time, but again the call was disconnected. After 25 minutes of wondering what to do, we were lucky that someone walked down the path and we asked him if he could help us. He asked us to wait and went into a building at the side of us. He then came back several minutes later and said he was trying to locate someone and made a call on his phone. Eventually he said we should go and wait by the reception and someone would come to us. Finally after waiting over 40 minutes in total, a member of staff arrived , gave us a key to our mobile home. Gave us a booklet containing a code for the entry barrier so we could get the car on the site and said she would follow us to our mobile home to help us with lighting the boiler and switching everything on. We got to the barrier and typed in the code - it didn't work, we kept trying for several minutes, but we couldn't get it to work. Eventually the staff member arrived and I said the code didn't work. She typed a code and the barrier opened straight away, but she just waved us through and said nothing. We made our way to our mobile home assuming the staff member would follow as promised. She finally arrived 30 minutes later, during which time we had no hot water as we didn't know how to light the boiler! I asked her about the code for the barrier and if it was the one she gave us and she laughed and said no, and wrote another code into our booklet! I then asked why the information in our welcome booklet about the swimming pool was crossed out and she said because the pool was closed. I explained that when I booked I was led to believe that it was open till early November and that my confirmation also mentioned the pool and showed her. She insisted however, that when I had booked in June, yes the pool was open, but only until 31st September because there is no demand in October and it's too costly. I said I was not happy, so she said I should come back on Monday (this was Saturday) when reception would be open at 2:30pm to discuss it. I did go back on Monday just after 2:30pm, but reception wasn't open.||||Our second issue was the lack of support in an emergency. On the Saturday evening at about 9pm, the smoke alarm in our mobile home suddenly went off for no reason and would not stop. It had obviously malfunctioned. We tried to stop it by pressing the button on the front, but it would not stop. My husband tried to take the alarm off the ceiling so we could remove the battery and stop the noise. However, it would not come down and we couldn't find a way of getting the battery out. We tried to phone the emergency number in the booklet we were given, again it just rang out unanswered. I also tried the other number from the reception door, but no one answered. I even tried texting both numbers and translated the issues we were having into French and asked for help, but no one came. Eventually, my husband managed to get the alarm off the ceiling in the hope of removing the battery, but it was a fully sealed unit, so we had to smother the alarm in towels and put it in our car to block the noise. Despite trying to find someone for the rest of the week, we never did find or see a member of staff or find reception open and the fire alarm remained wrapped in towels all week whilst still going off! When we left we put it back on the ceiling and it was still going off!||||My final issue was over the description of the mobile home in my confirmation, it said that we would have a dishwasher in the mobile home - we actually didn't so I don't know if they gave us the wrong van or whether the description was incorrect, but again - no one available to discuss this with without wasting a lot of my valuable holiday time with my kids searching around trying to locate someone to speak to.||||All in all pretty...

Un très beau camping et le personnel est très sympathique. Pourquoi pas les 5 étoiles car quelques points à signaler . Nous avons eu un emplacement très bien placé à proximité des services du camping ca cest super . Par contre le Mobil home quelques points négatifs que j'ai signalé à l'accueil. Mais le plus dommage c'est vraiment le manque d'animations surtout le soir , même le bar à des horaires assez restreints et c'est vraiment dommage pour un mois d'août . Dimanche et lundi rien pas d'activités, pas de bar , pas de structure gonflable. Mardi bar ouvert 16h 19h et structure gonflable les mêmes horaires. Mercredi heureusement que la friterie était présente pour avoir l'ouverture du bar jusqu'à 21h. Le jeudi rebelotte 16h 19h . Par contre vendredi et samedi soir rien à dire pool party et soirée dansante. C'est vraiment dommage pour un camping qu'en août il n'y ai pas au moins des horaires un peu plus prolongé au moins au bar pour manger une petite glace ou boire une petite boisson après le repas . En plus les pâtisseries proposés sont délicieuses et pas chers du tout comme les boissons d'ailleurs. Pour faire des rencontres et sympathisé avec les autres campeurs c'est un peu restreint et c'est bien dommage. Surtout quand on sais que à bray-dunes tout est fermé à 21h c'est un peu dommage de rester au Mobil home le soir alors que tu est en Vacances. La piscine est vraiment super et très propre et heureusement qu'elle est là pour nous occuper et profiter un peu . Par contre c'est un camping très calme et pour ce reposer il est parfait et les membres du camping sont très gentils . Un petit clin d'œil à Justine qui est très gentille. Nous avons quand même passés une bonne semaine . Mon commentaire n'est pas pour critiquer du tout mais juste pour que le camping essaye dans la mesure du possible revoir quelques...

Nous somment venue pour des vacances en famille pour 10 personnes sur le site du camping il était indiquer qu’il aurait des sanitaire et des douches a disposition dans le camping une fois arrivé là bas la dame de l’accueil nous a simplement dit que les sanitaires et les douche sont fermer à cause des enfants qui salissent avec le sables nous nous somment retrouver avec une seule douche et wc pour 10 personnes, le mobil home était sale ( dans micro-onde de la viande et du sang dedans, cheveux sur les lit et les table de chevet, déchet alimentaire au tour de l’évier, salle de bain sale) à notre arriver nous avons signaler à l’accueil la saleté elle nous à répondue « ah bon la femme de ménage a du oublier » et personne n’est venue nettoyer nous avons du le faire nous mêmes en plus de la saleté dès lieu nous avons 1 chaise casser un barbecue sans grille et la fenêtre des wc est bloquer nous ne pouvons pas l’ouvrir le tout pour 730 euros la semaine. Le site du camping est purement mensonger nous ne somme pas à 3 min de la plage mais 5 km le bar est ouvert que quelques heures l’après midi aucune animation pour les jeunes ne vous fier pas au images sur le site les chambres ne sont pas exact l’es couette sont de vieille couette et les oreillers ne mérite même pas de les appeler oreiller concernant la piscine sur le site il nous est promis un spa balnéo en réalité se sont juste dés bulle qui s’allume tout les 30 min pendant 5 min la piscine n’est pas surveillé se qui est très dangereux car les enfants saute et cour partout et de plus on s’est fait voler des claquette j’ai demander à l’accueil de pouvoir voir les vidéo surveillance qui sont indiquer dans le camping en réalité il n’avait pas de caméra dans le camping on nous a juste dit « oh mince » camping réserver pour les personne...
