I think it’s important that people don’t think the pictures that this hotel has advertised are realistic. They must have been taken when this hotel was first built. I don’t know when that was but the rooms look nothing like them now. I have included several photos but I forgot to get any of the many rats running around the car park - yes the rats didn’t affect us but to see that many running around was a little disturbing.|Although I understand the price I paid for this hotel and I certainly wasn’t expecting the Ritz, the rooms are disgusting. Mould on the ceiling, damp on the walls, paint on the duvet cover, light fittings, switches and soap dispensers hanging off, I hate to think what the marks might have been on the walls|It looked like the door had been smashed open, you could actually see day light when the door was closed - we were in room 27. We were actually concerned about our safety and barely slept as a result. Seeing several people just sitting in their cars for long periods and then just leaving made us a little nervous. |I’ve seen lots of comments about the ‘small’ bathroom too - if you think about the exact plastic bathroom in a large caravan or motor home then you won’t go wrong! It’s also listed as a non smoking hotel but as soon as you walk into the room there’s a stale smell of smoke and you can smell people smoking outside your room when you are inside.|As an English equivalent I was expecting a Travelodge standard but this is miles away from that.|This hotel needs some serious work done to it, money invested and some painting done!! Oh and better...
Read moreWe booked here as a stop off for both our arrival and departure from France on our holiday. Yes its cheap. But we now see why. Very run down, faulty electrical switches, bulbs blown (our 1st night there the toilet lights were both blown) had to use our mobiles as lighting. Room smelled of stale tobacco ( 2nd night stay we bought air freshener to spray the room) the marks on the walls we were unsure what they were but guessing most of them to be bug splatter as I added a couple of new marks myself. We used our own pillows as the ones supplied were tiny and useless. The floor was sticky, the door was hard to close as not aligned properly. And we witnessed on our 2nd night a couple who couldn't get booked in as no one was at reception, and the automatic booking in machine was faulty, the light above the machine didn't work so again mobiles were needed. No contact numbers on the machine or the reception door for help more people turned up for there rooms unable to get in, basically a mess and not organised at all. Yes it says reception closed at 9pm. But the couple had contacted the hotel saying they would be later and were told reception would be open. And surely whoever is on duty and does have to leave should be checking the booking in machine works beforehand. Obviously NOT. So if you don't mind any of the possible issues, and you get someone at reception, and you take your own pillows, we found the mattress to be comfortable for an overnight stop off. The...

It's cheap, but not worth it.||We had a terrible experience at this hotel. The room was incredibly small, and the bathroom was made entirely of plastic. It smelled awful, like a portable toilet. The beds were dirty, with torn frames and filthy mattresses underneath. The floor was dirty, made from the cheapest rubber material. Everything in the hotel was old and worn out.||The TV had no channels in any language other than French, and there were no cartoons or kid-friendly options. The hotel is not suitable for children; the rooms are on floors with balconies that are questionable in quality. There's a large gap between the end of the balcony and the railing, big enough for a child's foot to fit through, which made our stay stressful with kids.||The walls were very thin, and we could hear everything from neighboring rooms, including arguments and people having loud parties, smoking marijuana, and cigarettes on the balconies. There was no communal area or garden to relax in; nowhere to sit outside. Room service was available only on the first day. On the second day, we only received fresh towels, but our bed linen was not changed, and nothing was cleaned.||The only positive aspect was the reception staff, who were friendly but spoke no English at all.||Overall, a very disappointing experience. Avoid this...
