Gîte et chambres d'hôtes la Rose des Alpes — Hotel in Gap

We enjoyed a comfortable night here in this little hotel in a lovely alpine setting.||We were able to park the car inside the gated courtyard, at the back of the hotel which felt very safe. There was also a large public car park nearby.||Our room was quite basic, but clean with a comfortable double bed. It was at the back of the hotel, overlooking the courtyard and beyond to the wooded mountainside, so was nice and quiet. The hotel does front onto a busy road, but it didn't give us any problems. We had a continental breakfast with local jams in the hotel that was available from 0730 even on a Sunday, so we were able to complete our journey in good time (but we did notice the hot water in our room didn't kick in until just before 7am).||There was no restaurant in the hotel, but there was a good selection of eateries and bars just a few steps away, where there was a lovely atmosphere. Friendly proprietor in a nice alpine setting. Continental breakfast with local jams and local cheese.||||The rooms need a bit updating. Shower head is not attached to the wall and there was no shower curtain. Towels were clean but need to be replaced with newer ones. ||Internet very weak, bed comfortable. Good location with plenty of parking and a nice restaurant next...

Ero di passaggio a Serres e dovevo fermarmi vista l'ora che cominciava a tardare e consultanto TA le scelte potevano essere due o l'Hotel des Alpes oppure Le Fifi Moulin(qualcosa del genere), visto che all'apparenza il secondo sembrava essere più curato e costoso ho optato per il primo. Ho dato un'occhiata da fuori e sembrava chiuso, ma una volta entrato sono stato subito accolto da un signore che prima di essere pagato mi ha fatto visitare la stanza e mi ha chiesto se fosse stato di mio gradimento.||Non avevo grosse pretese, mi erano più che sufficienti un letto e una doccia. E così è stato. Niente di più. L'albergo mostra i segni dell'età che ha, e forse il più grosso cambiamento che ha avuto negli ultimi 5 anni è stato la costruzione del bagno con doccia nella camera in cui ho dormito. Al mattino, colazione inclusa nel prezzo della camera, fatta praticamente con la coppia proprietaria dell'albergo dato che ero l'unico cliente e così c'è stato modo di cambiare qualche battuta. A disposizione dei clienti un piccolo parcheggio privato che viene chiuso la notte.||Senza infamia, ma senza lode, l'Hotel des Alpes si porta a casa una...
