Au Picatal — Hotel in Gourdon

We stayed 2 nights at this gite and we are very happy with our choice. Nathalie and Gauthier are very helpful and provided a lot of excellent travel and dining recommendations to us. They are always there whenever we have questions and need advises. Au Picatal is located on a quiet road in Meyronne, very clean, spacious and we like the simple modern decoration of their rooms with comfortable beds. The rooms however are quite dark as it has very small windows but this is not a major problem as we were out sightseeing most of the time. We enjoy the simple breakfast in their spacious open kitchen. Meyronne is well-located and is within a short drive to charming villages like Rocamadour, Payrac, Sarlat, Martel,...

We’ve stayed in Gîte le Séchoir for the past week and can’t recommend it enough. The location is great with gorgeous views - just a short walk into Meyronne, Saint-Sozy and the Dordogne. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the pool is lovely and warm and the accommodation is well equipped. Nathalie was a wonderful host and always on hand if we needed anything. Plus her English is much better than my French! All in all, a great place and lovely people....

What a magical place! We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The location is amazing, peaceful, yet close to everything we needed. The garden is beautiful and makes the place feel extra special.
