This hotel is everything you need for a quick visit when exploring the town. W had a TV, large bed and wardrobe space in there. Very basic but clean. The shower room was a bit on the small side but again perfect for what you need on a quick visit. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a bit on the uncomfortable side. Large squares that made it difficult to get comfortable on. The bed linen was clean and so were the towels that were provided. There was a hair dryer in the shower room that was great. We got small sachets of soap, hair shampoo and lotion. Toilet roll was provided. We got our room tidied every morning. No kettle provided. And there weren't snout plug sockets in the room. There is a all garden area at the rear that was nice but no lightning the evening, that was a shame. As too dark to sit in. A small communal area but because of the hotel being so small, any noise is heard by...

We recommend the white from Bergerac, which is what we got by asking simply for a "white." The bathroom was reminiscent of one you might find on a very small boat, but at least it was in the room. Dinner began with a lovely salad notable for the fresh walnuts and hot goat cheese wrapped in phyllo pastry. At breakfast, I think I had the freshest, most delectable, croissant ever. Also on the breakfast menu were yoghurt, cheese, sliced meats, breads, grapefruit and orange juice, and of course tea and coffee. Charming...
Read moreSarrazac is not the easiest of places to find so the very warm reception from the family made a good start to our visit. As we have dogs with us this was an ideal place for the morning and evening walk usually meeting some of the local dogs. The night sky was so clear and the peaceful surroundings all added up to an excellent stay. There are plenty of places to visit, Tureene and Collonges la Rouge almost on the doorstep. We enjoyed the ambiance of being in a family run hotel, no frills but beautifully cooked meals and service, plus the very friendly atmosphere. We will certainly return if we are anywhere in the vicinity. So peaceful and relaxing. Madame spoke good English for those who feel happier at...
