Overall we had a nice one night stay. Very fair price for a pitch. They charged us cca 1,5€ per dog. Clean facilities, nice, clean pool. Owners (I believe) were very friendly and kind, serving us tasty dinner and local wine. Unfortunately nearby there aren't any proper places to walk the dogs and we were asked not to walk on the campground with the dogs. About other staff we were left with a bit of mixed feelings. Overall they were polite. But we had a bit of a 'missunderstanding' with one of the workers. When walking the dogs we disposed of the poop bags in the trash besides the camp. One of the workers spoke very angrily to us in French. We did not understand fully, but I believe he was telling us why are we disposing the poop bags in an empty trash, instead of disposing it in the full one across the street. To be fair, we did not know those trash cans belonged to the camp. We apologised. But there is a nicer way...
Read moreWe travelled from Maussane to Valensole in a mobile home, covering a distance of 151 km, where we stayed for half a day. Afterward, we drove another 152 km to our next camping spot at Camping La Rivière. We relied solely on Google Maps for navigation, sometimes leading to tricky situations. One unforgetable incident occurred when we found ourselves stuck on a narrow road at a busy intersection, struggling to get out. The calm and helpful demeanour of the French people impressed us. We are now settled in at a charming community campsite where there is free pool access, a bar, and a restaurant; they offer a soccer and billiard table; a children's playground; and a bakery, which is very convenient.

Read moreArrived here for one night on our way from the UK to Corsica. Site seems very clean with average facilities and a reasonably stocked shop. Our kids had a great time in the pool on the evening arrival however pool closes sharply at 7pm. The next morning our kids went back to the pool in the now dry swimming gear (temperature in Nice dries things fast) and we're told that the beach swimming trunks they had on were not allowed and they must wear short swimming trunks. This for me sort of made me realise that the rules are very over the top.||Overall below average due to the tight rules across the park. Gate closes at 2300 and does not open until 0600. Strict parking. Strict playground rules. Strict pool rules.||If you are looking for a relaxed environment, stay away from here. If you like structured amenities with like minded cakpers, then this is the place for you. Not...
