This year my friend and I were looking for something different from the usual type of beach holiday; a holiday that would provide us with adventure and discovery of the French Alps. Through thorough research Ferme Noemie came highly reccommended as a base in order to do this. This beautiful campsite did not disappoint - it was indeed the perfect position enabling us to explore the wonders of the area.
Not only was the campsite superb, Melanie, the owner, was a truly hospitable host in adapting our accommodation arrangements at short notice, during the uncertain period of Covid lockdown. She was constantly updating and reassuring us of the situation in France prior to our departure. We had to adapt our travel plans from flight to road travel ;Melanie was instrumental in assisting us with our route from the UK to France, (being first time long distance drivers this was very helpful indeed). Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to Melanie.
Our gite, ‘The End Barn, ‘ was super clean and spacious, white goods such as cooker, dishwasher and microwave were provided; even the finer details of pots, pans and cutlery were included making our stay very homely. The gite also had a balcony which allowed us to sit out every morning and evening admiring the splendour of the mountains - a wonder to behold indeed. Ferme Noemie, Bourg d' Oisans, really is positioned in an area of breathtaking beauty.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a super base for exploring the area, whether it is with friends, families or couples then Ferme Noemie, Bourg d’Oisans has it all! An ideal location - a fabulous, friendly and extremely helpful host and mountain scenery that will leave an imprint on your memory for years to come.

Read moreOur stay of 8 nights at the apartment was very good in general. It's a really nice place to stay 25 minutes to Alpe d'Huez by car on a week day. Really close to Allemond.
We had two rooms, one with three individual beds, the other one I think it also had three or two. Both rooms with windows with a really nice view. The toilet was separate of the sink and bathtub/shower, convinient as we were four. The kitchen it's really complete, pans, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and electric kettle, sugar and salt.
I'll repeat now that I am full aware of the conditions.
The things we didn't like were: We found out the day we arrived that we had to clean the entire apartment before checking out, this wasn't stated at Booking when we did the reservation. The last guests hadn't clean very well the toilet.
We were expected to pay if we didn't comply to some rules, again we found out about them at check in. (For example €30 for not cleaning the toilet). If we didn't comply the sum of the items was near the €300 deposit we pay.
Some beds bended a little in the middle, provoking back pain the last few days. We all four are all 25 and 26 so we could handle it.
The wifi was bad, we had to have downloaded a movie beforehand.
There was a lack of a few basic things such as cleaning gloves, dishwasher powder or holders for soap and toothbrushes in the sink.
Overall it's a really nice place to stay, the apartments are on a fist floor and the bedrooms on a second, so obviously there are stairs. There is a parking lot and a bicycle/ski equipment shed. You can go to dinner or to the supermarket 6 minutes away by car to Le Bourg d'Oisans, the best way to move...
Read moreJust returned home from France where we spent the majority of our holiday in our caravan at Ferme Noemie.|| From our first telephone conversation I cannot praise this campsite enough. Melanie called me back as they had had a cancellation and we were able to book easily. We were received with such a warm welcome and given loads of useful local information which we used during our stay. Melanie and her husband were so friendly and helpful at all times. || The toilets and showers were cleaned regularly and were always immaculate. The pitches are a good size and water and electricity very close to all pitches.||A very peaceful restful site.||Beautiful views of mountains all around site. A stunning area to visit for walking, hiking, cycling etc. Green route for cycles and pedestrians very close.||WE did not want to leave and will definitely be returning....
