Maison Les Berry’s — Hotel in Guéret

We went on business trip to Borganeuf and we felt in this hotel as if we were on holidays. |It was a great surprise to be hosted by a very friendly Irish couple.|I Ioved Gerry's sense of humour, and his wife's sweetness and warmness. |The home is another Irish island. Very very clean and comfortable.|Dinner: starters, salchichón, cheese, salad, and a very good chicken roast, with greens and salad and a very decent wine from Bergerac.|We were offered Irish breakfast or continental and were encouraged to take away the left overs. |The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Maison les Berry’s… Would I write about superb cleanliness of the bright, airy rooms and the house itself? Or enormous, tastiest breakfasts or dinners? Their dishes and pastry are without any doubt, one of the best i’ve ever tasted.

Maybe about the hospitality of the hosts who were always available, generous and just happy to do anything for the guests? Maybe that is why I almost didn’t feel like a guest but a family? Gerry and Betty couldn’t be nicer and more efficient even if they try, their b&b is lovely, splendidly clean and very comfortable. I will be happy if I have a chance to see them again. Wow, this is no ordinary B&B! Betty and Gerry are the warmest, kindest, most generous and welcoming people you could ever wish to meet. Each and every visit to their home has been an absolute pleasure and delight! They have gone above and beyond for us each time we've stayed with them, helping us to make the best decision ever to buy our own little house just up the road.
