Camping SEASONOVA Les Vosges du Nord — Hotel in Haguenau-Wissembourg

The views from the campsite across to Oberbronn are beautiful.|The campsite has all the possibility of being good but needs a bit of upkeep. The toilet block we were closest to, was shabby on the outside but clean inside.|Others have mentioned the lack of site map and I would def echo this as we didn't discover diahwashing facilities close to us till the last day and were making the trek across site. We never found the laundry facilities.|The inside swimming pool is a big plus, although sauna broken when we visited but steam room good.|Be mindful out of July/Aug reception is closed 12-4pm. So it's a late check-in compared to other places at 4pm.|Also the restaurant wasn't open and only opens July /Aug, we went end May /start of June.|Pitches were fine but there are parts of the site that can get a bit boggy.|We walked into Oberbronn, about 20 mins passing many storks nearing on top of posts! This was a Friday, only the bistro at end of the village open and then were full apparently. So we ended up having lunch at the Hotel Couvert. Avis mitigé, il y a du bon et du mauvais.

Les points positifs : le camping en lui même est très reposant car très calme ce qui est vraiment agréable, pelouse bien entretenue. Les mobilhomes XXL sont bien équipés (4 chambres, 2 salles de bain) mais il est dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de four (juste un micro onde), grande terrasse. La patronne prend le temps d'expliquer ce qu'il y a à voir dans la région, service boulangerie (très pratique vu qu'il n'y a rien autour). Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas une épicerie + grande avec une vente de journaux.

Les points négatifs : je n'ai pas utilisé les sanitaires mais après avoir jeté un oeil ils sont vraiment vétustes et pas très propres, les poubelles débordent car il n'y en pas assez, les piscines laissent à désirer (piscine extérieure petite avec 4 ou 5 pauvres chaises longues (le reste ce sont des chaises en plastique), pataugeoire fermée, piscine intérieure payante (et utilisation avec durée limitée !), le moindre service est payant (wifi, activités tir à l'arc,TV, barbecue (sauf pour les mobilhomes XXL qui en possède un), pas de jeux gonflables pour les enfants (comme décrit sur le site du camping), 1 seule soirée (soirée tartes flambées/karaoké catastrophique car 2h d'attente pour une avoir une tarte, certains ont été servis à 23h (arrivés à 19h30 !) et comme on règle avant on est bien obligé d'attendre ! il y a donc un gros problème d'organisation car si les gens étaient servis au coup par coup lors de leur arrivée ça serait + fluide (plutot que de vouloir servir tout le monde en même temps ce qui est impossible vu le manque de personnel), beaucoup d'insectes dans le mobilhome.

En conclusion ce camping est idéal si on veut se reposer (même si un peu isolé car rien à faire à pieds aux alentours), obligation de prendre la voiture (il y a de belles villes à visiter tel que Strasbourg ou Colmar). Je déconseille ce camping aux personnes qui souhaitent de l'animation ou des activités comme on peut voir dans certains campings. J'ai passé un bon séjour reposant (le patron veille au calme ce qui est très bien !) mais je ne pense pas y retourner. Ce camping a vraiment un très gros potentiel mais l'organisation est mauvaise et on voit que les gérants (affaire de famille : parents + fils) ne sont pas formés à ce métier ce qui est dommage car avec quelques améliorations d'équipement et du personnel supplémentaire cela...

Stayed here for one night, had planned on 2. The website is very misleading, there is a restaurant but they do not serve food, the toilets okay, washing up facilities are okay but there is no hot water, not even warm. There are restaurants nearby but we hadn't planned on having to venture out in the car after a long day travelling. Pool was good, not very deep but much needed in the hot weather. Nearly 30 Euros for a night (3 adults/2 children), that did not include electric. Nice view's on route to and from the site but no much going on. Certainly no atmosphere. Receptionist pleasant but spoke very little English, we conversed via Google translate when I needed to negotiate a refund. Look elsewhere if you want some kind of...
