Budget hotel in a great location near the charming little port.||Ideal for short stay, the rooms are in pretty standard conditions, very big and comfortable bed, great shower.||You can check in at any time as there's a machine outside the hotel so great if you're planning to arrive late.|There's no reserved parking on site so it can be a bit tricky but even during a busy summer weekend we managed to find a place approx. 5 min walk from the hotel.||There's no tea/coffee facilities in the room but there are vending machines downstairs.||Note that being near the port, it's also close to quite a few bars/restaurants so can get a bit noisy if you've got the window opened. In summer I believe there are daily evening market stalls and entertainment.|Didn't bother us as we were in a festive mood anyway!||Finally be aware with small children if on the higher floors, there's no protection bars on the windows and they are pretty big windows and quite low. It sounded like a chair being moved around the floor, continuously, for the 6 hours I had to get some sleep. Out came the travel ear plugs.||If your paying for breakfast - its basic, but again - ok for the price.||The location is picturesque, the staff are...
Read moreVery efficient, clean and basic rooms. Many Familys, Couples, Single Guests stayed at this hotel. Room cleaned every day of our 6 nights stay. We did not use the Breakfast service as we had a hire car and explored the region...Cassis, Marseilles, Martigues. Monpellier and several beaches via car. We used local fast food in the cities we visted or we used the Carrefour to purchase sandwiches and fruit for packed lunch/breakfast. In the evenings we returned to the Hotel and walked to the chjoice of about 6 restaurants open next to the Hotel and great sunsets in the port. We used the onsite microwave to heat water for a cup of tea rather than use the vending machines which looked a little expensive. Lovely aircon in the room! A fridge in the rooms would of been helpful!
Had a lovely holiday and flew home from Marseilles...
