Bellevues glamping and camping — Hotel in Jonzac

This is (I'm sorry to say) a very very long overdue review of this wonderful glamping/campsite. We stayed here for 4 days in August 2023 and it was just perfect for us and our two small dogs and our 8 year old son. We had the best time and our son always references this short holiday as his favourite and wants to go back, which we absolutely will one day. The glamping tent was awesome and very adequately equipped. The individual kitchen areas for each bell tent and converted horse box shower room/toilet was fab - Such a great idea! We had our own facilities and privacy with the pleasure of being on an open site with others at the same time. The pool was great and the dogs were able to roam freely (under our watchful eye of course) and they loved it too! It was our little Alfie's first holiday after we rescued him 4 months prior and he was so comfortable there. We went to a fab restaurant nearby twice for our evening dinner. And it was not a long drive to a wonderful dog friendly beach. So for us it catered for all needs and we enjoyed our stay very much. You guys are wonderful hosts and made us so welcome and provided everything that anyone could need to enjoy their stay. Every little detail and all items available in the kitchen are so well thought of and well organised. You guys have done a great job with your accommodation there and have thought of everything and we will be back for sure one day. We stayed Linda and Richard's beautiful bellevues glamping and camping site for 2 weeks at the end of September. We rented the mobile home, it was a delight to arrive and see a beautifully renovated caravan. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could think of; meals were easy to make and with a full size undercounter fridge we were able to stock up for over a week at a time. The rest of the caravan was charming, beds comfy, sofa and dining area providing space for relaxation and eating and activities. Bedding was provided, suitable for the time of year, blankets and extra pillows were provided upon request. There was also an outside seating area on a lovely patio undercover, with lights for the evening, there's even a washing line to use next to the mobile home. The site overall was stunning, set in the French countryside, with vineyards surrounding. Beautifully maintained, with the bonus of a very well kept swimming pool for use at anytime of day. Linda and Richard themselves were brilliant hosts, friendly, welcoming and attentive. We can't wait to visit the site again next year, we may try the glamping tents instead they looked amazing! Liked: We were really lucky to find this site. What a little gem! We were looking for somewhere relaxing where we could just enjoy the sun and unwind. From the moment we arrived we felt like we had found paradise. This place has a very homely feel to it and the kids felt safe and happy spending their days in the pool or playing ping pong. Linda and Richard are very welcoming and really made us feel at home. The surrounding views are beautiful. Bordeaux was easily accessible on the train if you wanted to fit a city day in and take in some more sights. The pool is well kept and the facilities were very clean. The tuck shop was an added bonus, where you could pick up an ice cream or a cold beer. We would definitely return again and even treat ourselves to a stay in one of the lovely glamping tents.
