The location is very good in front of the beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. However the corridor leading to the rooms are 50-60 years behind and quite ugly. But once you enter the room you forget the corridor's ugliness and enjoy the property.||I stayed in a room with sea front terrace in the upper floor (recommended-upper) and it was wonderful even though it is not so close to the sea water. nothing is blocking the view. I even visited the nearby sea beach overlooking the hotel building itself as well. Indeed there are hotels about 3-4 km southbound, just South to the port, overlooking closer to the sea and closer to restaurants and supermarket. But this distance is not disturbing when having a car. There is a parking place owned by the hotel. Free WiFi, enough electric sockets to charge, a safe and a reasonable breakfast. Not far from the hotel there are several dolmens and beach walkways. It served mainly as a base to travel along the pink roads of the Perros Guirec.||I found by chance the nice big rock of the "Father" just behind the small hill south-West to the port of Trebeurden, facing the island Ile Milliau. More and additional fascinating rocks are found around the aquarium and East to it.||Hotel's location at...
Read moreSpent 3 nights at Le Toeno in late April. Staff was friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The €11 breakfast might seem steep for what you get, but everything was fresh and delicious. The dining area was bright and clean. The honor bar in the lobby is a great idea. Guests can make up their own mixed drinks or grab an espresso. The front desk is not staffed 24/7, but accommodations are made for early or late arrivals. Our room on the second floor looking out across the road to the ocean was very nice. Small balcony was perfect for the two of us. You will need to make lunch or dinner arrangements and there are no restaurants within easy walking distance. And because the number of local restaurants if limited, reservations are strongly recommended. The room itself was clean and adequate and WiFi was acceptable. Loved the walk-in shower. We found the location was great for exploring the Rose Granite Coast and would recommend the property...
Read moreWe were on a wine buying trip in France and ended up in Brittany on the way back. By chance driving buy we called in to see if there were rooms available. Very friendly welcome and the room on the first floor had a lovely balcony was spacious and immaculately clean with modern furnishings. Amazing value for money. There is much to do and see on the coast including some lovely walks. Slight drawback is hotel did not have a restaurant (they do breakfast) but there are restaurants nearby including one that delivers food. If you like oysters there is a fisherman with a small set up -tanks etc. - just down the road. He prepared a dozen on a plate with lemon hand wipes (all beautifully presented) for an an absurdly low price. The hotel was happy we ate in the room (this was low season with few other guests) .All in all a lovely stay at an exceptional price. ( We had no problems with...
