We came for an external charity fund raising quiz so unable to comment on the tents or activities available We pre- ordered food as instructed and arrived prior to the suggested arrival time, we were a table a 6 and we sat on the assigned table We had our drink order taken and brought over. Food was supposed to be served by 730 at 8 we were still waiting, we asked how much longer it would be as we had diabetics on the table that needed to eat, we were told it would be another 10 mins max. When the food finally arrived the food was cold the bread bun was hard and was still frozen, compared to other tables our food look like it had been put through a microwave. We complained and showed the manager the food, to be told its the French way of cooking, it's not the French way, we had French in our party that work in hospitality, she then argued stating people hadnt pre-ordered and this is why theres a problem, we advised we had pre-ordered and she should have dealt with the pre-ordered meals first and then the people after and she then quickly changed her tune and remade the burgers (no apology at this point) when the remade food came out the chicken burgers were completely different to everyone else's they were a round burger type were the others had been more a kiev style. The burgers were hot this time but the buns were still cold and parts still frozen, but at this point the quiz was starting so ate the meat and left the bun and had some chips which were OK nothing special just some cooked frozen stuff. Then when it came to paying the bill we asked for this and then the rest of the problems started, the flyer for the quiz stated the food would be 12€ and we're charged 13.50€ we were charged for 10 beers with syrup when it should have been 3, so up we go to sort out the bill, we then had the manager basically argue with us about the meal that the 12€ price was for only fish and chips and not the burgers - we showed the flyer and said it didn't state that she did then begrudgingly take the extra charge off, when we asked about a discount for the food she said we hadn't complained about the food (!) So we had to pay, when we mentioned about the beer we were told that the person taking our drinks had been to our table multiple times so it was right and the syrup was expensive and cost 17€ a bottle - we were charge 35€, she changed the bill again to reduce it down once she agreed the price she charged was different to what was on the menu, after the 3rd different bill we paid (still no apology) when we pointed out again that we had diabetics on the table and they needed to eat she basically said she didnt care!! (Great advertising that she doesnt care about health conditions given the clientele shes aiming for) she then said we had bad karma and then called my friend a French b*h, yes my friend responded and said the Germans are better. We do quiz nights very regularly so she's basically screwed herself out of regular fund raising because she couldn't apologise and admit that the food was sub-par I don't think they can cope with more then 10 people definitely not a bar full Definitely wouldn't recommend to eat there if you go for an external event or if there's a massive group because she definitely does not have the customer service skills to deal with people As a side note I was poorly and sick early hours of the morning, I believe it was definitely the food as a couple more in our group were also sick, but I fully expect the manager to deny this...

This is definitely the worst place I've even been ! Please read before booking anything here. !!

You ( the " manager " ) can copy and paste your answer text as many times as you like but we still stand saying you were very rude and made us pay 13.50€ instead of 12€ for the pre ordered burgers. You are doing FAKE advertising, and you are trying to make YOURSELF become the VICTIME whilst YOU were the rudest person I've ever met. And saying that this is a special place for people with disability but when we asked ( for the 3rd time after 2hrs) when we are getting are food because we had 2 diabetics at are table... your answer was, " So what ? " and then brought us the most horrible burgers when everyone else had good looking burgers. From the beginning, you decided to take it out on us. We arrived at 6pm ( 2nd table to arrive ) and we had pré ordered but you served the people who ordered who ordered at their table !!. That is NOT how you do it ! First arrived first served !!! We waited 2 HOURS for food. And you brought out...

Cannot comment on the campsite or its facilities as we were there for a Charity quiz. We pre ordered our food as requested turned up early and were the last to be served and when we complained about the cold food/frozen bun we got told thats the french way . They begrudgingly replaced our food which arrived as the quiz was starting, burger was hot but bun still frozen. At the end of night they tried to charge us for drinks we had never had and said we had not complained about the food and had to pay . Gave us 3 different amounts we had to pay. No apology only rude derogatory comments from the owner. Will never ever go to another charity event here due to the owners attitude and obviously they cannot cope with a large...

Kwaliteit is prima.

A super quiet location which suited me fine out of season. For my purposes the campsite was quiet with few guests. In high season it will be busy with cabins, safari tents and pitches but that will suit many. The sanitary blocks are meticulously maintained and the hosts are friendly and helpful. A relaxed atmosphere, quiet nights away from any traffic noise and well laid out. The owner's dog visited regularly but that wasn't an issue. I'll definitely stay again. Recommended.
