I have been waiting for over a month to get my 250 euro deposit back. They are unresponsive to calls and emails when trying to ask them why they hold the deposit so long. This is not normal and nobody at the campsite can explain to me why or for how long this hold will last. I have NEVER been to a campsite that holds longer than a few days after you leave. For the moment my bank cannot do anything because the hold is on side of the campsite. If this issue is not resolved soon, I will be taking legal action against this campsite.
UPDATE (after campsite response) - - you are very quick to respond here in a public forum but my personal emails or phone calls unresponsive. You are still missing the point and not answering my specific question. Again there is a HOLD of 250 euro on my bank account therefore I have 250 euro less In my account that I cannot access because you are still HOLDING it. For example, If I only had 250 euro in my account I have 0 money because you put 250 euro on HOLD. The question is when will you release the hold and why do you hold so long. 1 month I have not been able to access my 250 euro. It is not my bank, it's you that holds it and has not released my money. I don't know how much clearer I can make this...

During our stay, our small dachshund was very scared because someone was setting off fireworks for a long time. Unfortunately, upon departure, the lady at reception was unpleasant – she complained that our dog had been barking, even though he was frightened by the fireworks. She then threatened us, saying the rules allowed them to withhold the deposit. This was the only campsite we stayed at that required a deposit.
The location was fine. The only friendly person we met was the young...
Read moreBeautiful campsite with all amenities needed. We were welcomed by a very friendly lady who spoke both English and French. You can order your bread for breakfast directly at the reception. A snack bar is located directly next to the reception. Bathrooms and showers were quite new and very clean. Just note that you have to bring your own toilet paper. The proximity to Etretat is perfect to explore the white rocks along the coastline. Please note that the street to the campsite is quite narrow in some places but passable also for big campers. Just be careful in the curves. Would definitely...
