2025 stay again fabulous holiday. I still agree with the review I did in 2022. We chose pitch 7 thinking it would be a good pitch with a little shade from toilet block but and the site have created a communal BBQ area on the other side of the fence of pitch 7 & 8 since our last visit. On several occasions smoke from the bbq blew onto our pitch and there was a lot of noise from people chatting singing etc. once late at night with teenagers. We would definitely stay again but on another pitch away from this area. Most of the people using it was from the static accommodation. The site was much busier than in 2022 same weeks. Laundrette is now just outside the site and was very good. We would definitely recommend this site and would certainly stay again. 2022 We stayed for 2 weeks in our touring caravan. Site was very quiet as out of season, which we liked. Ideal for the beach, direct access took 2-3 min from pitch to beach. Lovely swimming pool, we had it to ourselves several times. Restaurant/Bar & entertainment was not open but it looked a very nice area for the main season. Toilet block mixed male/female no toilet paper or seats but very clean and tidy. Washing up & clothes washing with washer & dryer totally adequate. Majority of the touring Pitches were 100sq m apx. Electric points (need continental adapter) can be 2 pitches away so may need longer cable. Fresh water near to pitches. Chemical disposal near to toilet block. We have a twin axle caravan and had no problem getting to the site or access whilst on site. Restaurants & supermarket with walking distance. Cycle tracks from site are superb. Absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend

Pro's: great location walking distance to the beach, bouncy castle for kids, clean, covered pool, mobile home well equipped Cons: shabby slide and play structure, paid children's club, not enough seats for evening entertainment (not that the entertainment is that great either anyway), advertising modern and 'new' mobile home, our radiator was all cracked, should be replaced, cold pool Unfortunately we didn't get the pleasure of a warm, inviting welcome from the owner. Even saying hello around the campsite throughout our stay... which put us off. As some others have said, the owner is selectively friendly. The lady is nicer, but didn't hardly see her. It's a shame as customer service counts for a lot! Overall, I'd recommend it for the beach location but nothing more. There's others in the area with beach access that I'd be inclined to look at instead.

Just returned after a wonderful week here. There were six of us, two adults, then four younger people (22, 18, 17, 17). We have been to the Vendée four times now in different areas and on different sites. The best thing about this site is its location to the most beautiful beach. the site itself was kept very clean and tidy and it's laid out quite well. We didn't partake in the entertainment as quite happy to return after going out for a meal and then sitting and relaxing on our terrace. It sounded great and some excellent music and groups. If anything the area is a little too quite at night for our older kids, but great for younger families. The only disappointment was on arrival to our mobile home, we had to fill out an inventory sheet with everything that was inside. It was all left out on the table which I guess is a good idea and saves time for the cleaning team. However! A lot of the crockery etc, wasn't clean and as we went through the plates, dishes, cutlery, we had to wash every single item. It all smelt like it had been cleaned with the very dirty floor cloth (which has been there all week!!) We had missing items and made a note of this and wrote our findings on the back as requested. The outside window on the veranda curtain was really dirty, so we cleaned that ourselves too! Nobody came to replace our missing items, not a major problem, as we had enough. But, it would have been nice for someone to actually pop by and apologise and acknowledge our findings. I totally get how very busy the staff are, but you cannot solely rely on previous guests to ensure everything is as it should be for your new arrivals. It would probably take 15 minutes to quickly check everything before your next guests. I wish the owner's every success as they are working extremely hard to make your stay a great one! Personally, I would go back, but I hope they take the negative comments on board as well as the positive ones :-) Thank you for a...

Just heading home after another fantastic stay at this campsite! This is our 3rd stay at the site, but our first since the site changed hands. We weren't sure what to expect with the new management, but we weren't disappointed. The site, as always, is well kept. Some washing facilities were limited due to corona virus, but that's to be expected and not a problem. The pool is lovely and not too crowded, the site is right on the beach, and close to nearby shops and attractions. There is also a bus stop right outside for those wishing to use public transport, and plenty of cycle lanes for those who, like us, enjoy a bike ride. The majority of the other guests are French, but the new owners and staff speak more English than the previous ones, and have considerably better language skills than us, so we felt very at ease. The new owners are very friendly and really seem to work extremely hard to enhance every guests visit and they do a great job. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. We ate at the restaurant and the food was lovely, as were all the staff. Best waffles ever tasted according to our daughter, who knows a thing or two about waffles. Our youngest (boy, age 7) loved the playpark and the kids discos. Our eldest (girl age 11) loved the pool. I loved the cocktails at the bar! There's plenty going on at the site and, although we didn't participate in all the activities, I'm sure we would've been made more than welcome if we had! We will definitely be back next year, and I thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a site...
