La Croix du Reh is a fantastic place to stay. The beds are beautifully comfortable, the rooms clean and very well equipped. We stayed in the family room and found it to be a generous size, even with two teenage boys! The bathroom was well appointed, clean and had some lovely thoughtful touches left in there for guests to use. The boys enjoyed the use of the pool, it was very welcome after a hot day in the car. ||||I can highly recommend the evening meal and the breakfast is out of this world , with a massive selection of local and homemade produce, pastries, pancakes and a constant flow of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. We have a lovely warm welcome when we arrived from the hosts and they were very attentive, informative and just generally lovely to chat with for the duration of our stay. Thank you both for a fantastic stay and we look forward to seeing...
Read moreWe stayed here for one night as a stopover on our way further south. We were met with a lovely warm welcome, which immediately made us feel at home. Our room was very well appointed, and had some thoughtful touches. Both that and our shower room were spotlessly clean. We sat in the lovely lounge enjoying a hot drink, and Galaya came and sat with us for a while sharing her knowledge of the area with us which was very welcome, and nice she gave us her time. We slept really well as the bed was So comfortable, and were met with a wonderful, extensive breakfast spread the next morning. Both my husband and I stay away with work a lot, and see a lot of hotels, so we can be quite discerning, but cannot fault this at all! We would definately return, and definately recommend to anyone,...
Although on our return journey we called upon the Greek God Abeona, who is called God of the prosperous outward journey, we found this gem in the exact middle of France after a thorough search. Peter and Galya together speak almost all languages including Russian, and form a culinary-Phylisophic couple of unprecedented class. This quiet B&B not only has a fantastic ambiance and beautiful garden with an ecologically heated swimming pool and beautiful stylish rooms, but the mentioned owners have "Das gewisse Etwas", what you need to feel like your real guest. Cooking is done at a very reasonable price on a star level: Galya masters her profession and combines her originally Russian culinary knowledge with that from France. Delicious! You can have in-depth conversations with Peter, while enjoying a good glass of wine or delicious cold beer! After a good night's sleep, we enjoyed a very extensive excellent breakfast. Again at a high level with home-made marmalades, where you lick your fingers. A super recommendation. And especially if the English young man is also present, who is another perfect example of how you make a guest feel like a...
