Château De Charnizay — Hotel in Loches

We stayed with our extended family for 4 nights in late July/Early August 2022. We had an amazing experience thanks to our tactful and helpful hosts, Marine and Jean-Paul. The castle is beautifully renovated, and very well equipped. Kids had a blast with the swimming pool, the pool table and table tennis, not to mention the 2 cats and the dog !

We stayed in the chateau's rooms that are spacious, fully renovated with brand new bathrooms. We also ate breakfast and dinner with the whole family (9 people) and were delighted by the service and the quality of the food.

The Chateau is very well located, within an hour drive of most of the Loire Chateaux and very close to beautiful Loches. We did not have time to enjoy all that the region has to offer. Enjoying the amazing and peaceful view from the chateau's terrasse while sipping some of Jean Paul's wine selection will be a memory we cherish for quite some time.

Whether this is for a couple of nights or a more extended stay, do not hesitate and make sure to stay at Chateau...

Lieu magnifique avec un charme fou, le château est très bien rénové et offre une vue tellement reposante sur le parc avec des arbres majestueux, idéal pour les apéros au coucher de soleil. Nous avons réservé le gîte pour un groupe de 10 adultes avec 8 enfants. Le gîte offre tout le confort nécessaire, chaque chambre a sa sdb et ses wc et il y a également une grande cuisine et un salon. N’hésitez pas de réserver le dîner en table d’hôtes, la cuisine de Marine est réconfortante (gratin dauphinois délicieux :) ) le tout accompagné de bons vins. La piscine est très agréable également. Enfin Marine et Jean-Paul sont très sympathiques et apportent de bons conseils sur la région.

Bref vous l’avez compris, nous reviendrons...

Nous avons passé 3 nuits superbes au Château de Charnizay dans un des ecolodges situés dans le parc du Château. Ecolodge très bien conçu très confortable avec nos 2 enfants de 4 et 7 ans. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine et avons pris nos petits déjeuners et diner proposés par nos hôtes dans le Chateau! Parfaitement adapté pour les familles ce lieu est une parfaite étape pour découvrir la Touraine. Nous avons notamment pu en profiter pour nous balader dans les alentours, notamment au sein de la réserve naturelle de la Haute Touche!
