Les Petites Cigognes — Hotel in Loches

We spent a wonderful week in these gites. Our son was getting married locally so I booked the 3 houses in May. We had an array of people, children, friends and new in laws. Everyone loved each one of the 3 houses of Les Petites Cigognes . The comfort , cleanliness and facilities were wonderful. The Swimming pool was big and inviting, there were bikes in the shed for adults and children. We had bar b ques and a huge play area for the children with swings ect. Our wonderful hosts Sandra and Ian were welcoming, friendly, very helpful to us in our pre and post wedding roles. Ian did Trojan work in giving lifts to and from the venue at a very reasonable rate. We had a wonderful week at Les Petites Cigognes. The gite is well appointed, well equipped and ideally situated for exploring the Loire valley. Supermarket in Descartes had everything we could wish for, but it was fun to visit the local markets for fresh produce too. The pool was well cared for and very welcome after a hot day sightseeing and having fun. Great location for spotting wildlife; on an evening stroll we saw deer in the fields and whilst kayaking (from Descartes) we saw an otter and 3 kingfishers as well as various other birds. We had a fabulous week staying at Les Petite Cigognes. The gite was immaculately clean, comfortable, and incredibly well furnished. It is situated in a stunning location near to some beautiful towns and rivers, with many traditional markets and restaurants. There is something for everyone here, we visited Chateaux, walked, cycled and even went to a Safari Park. Ian and Sandra are brilliant hosts always willing to share their extensive knowledge if required.
