We stayed in this place one night (fortunately). We arrived 3 hours earlier than the official 15:00 hour check in time. It was a deserted place nobody was there. After telephone calling were told to come back at 15:00. At check-in very little attention was given, the lady gave us first a card to buy and taste wine instead of taking us to our room. Finally she took us to the room and left us without any instructions for air conditioning or lights that were not working at all and we had to search for support ourselves to make the room operational. Even the door lock was faulty and not operating properly. |The room was big and nice with big terrace and bathroom and a nice swimming pool shared with nearby rooms. A lot of design elements in the room but very badly made or not maintained showed lack of any kind of quality. The place is a winery not a hotel of any acceptable quality. Breakfast was poor in a dark wine tasting room without any charm, light or quality. |The wi-fi was not working too. |The cost per night of 169 euro is extremely high for what you get. This place is not worth more than 60 euro per night at the best case. We do not...
Read moreJust stayed with a friend for 2 nights / 2 deluxe rooms @ 160 euros per room per night... Highly disappointing... Of course à château is generic name for a winery in France but you would expect that given the price something like a relais château...well nothing like that at all... It's just a "domaine viticole" with guests rooms... Don't expect to be welcome the actual reception area is never used due to an obvious lack of staffs... You need to go to the winery area... Room is poorly accommodatef (no fridge, lighting a nightmare...) except if you are a jucuzzzy fan which are actuelly everywehere in the property... The mattress is soooo soft that a change is absolutely required... Decor is really common... Property surroundings are lacking maintenance (website picture versus actual). Breakfast very poor.... One mini pain chocolat and croissant per person... Evening "tapas" are totally overpriced and not nice to be honest not to mention that there isn't even a nice outdoor space to seat and eat... Not even the wine did make the evening.. Such a shame because we had lovely meals and wines in the area during our stay. Just avoid!!!! A...
Read moreWe booked this as to break our journey. We arrived at 1pm & this unfortunately for us was the afternoon break time for the staff so we had to drive into the village & have a coffee for an hour or so until we could check in at 3pm, after our long drive this was not ideal, however, once we were able to check in we were met with a lovely smile & shown the spa area & other points of the hotel before being shown to our room. Our room was spacious, clean & very comfortable with an espresso machine available for us to use. We used the pool which you have to pass through the owners living room to access. We also reserved the evening dinner with wine tasting. This was very nice as we were sat with 4 other persons & after short introductions we enjoyed a 4 course meal with various wines from the domaine. Breakfast was also well presented with a choice of breads, cheeses & hot scrambled egg with some sausages. We enjoyed our stay here, everyone was very friendly, the rooms comfortable & clean. The only thing I would mention is that if you don't want to enjoy the wine tasting & dinner, then you have to venture into the...
