Le Manoir du Cerf - a quick 45 minute drive from Charles de Gaul Airport (mostly on a national road skirting major traffic) is this quiet relaxing peaceful retreat on a large piece of green land with a bunny and deer. A true French home with a balcony and impeccably clean and modern rooms with lots of character. This would be the perfect place to start or end a vacation to France. The hosts are incredibly gracious and interesting. A market and gas station are close by. I had the best nights sleep. If I lived in Paris, I would routinely go for weekends to this quiet get-away. I loved staying at Le Manoir with its very magical, peaceful location in the woods, the sunny terrace from where you can see deer and rabbits and the beautiful Anglo-Norman style of the house. Our room was very comfortable with everything we could want. Our hosts were very welcoming, we had a delicious meal cooked by Elsa, there was enough choice for breakfast.
