La porcherie at les savoys — Hotel in Marmande

Set beside rolling hills full of vines, La Porcherie is a fantastic place for a getaway. The gite is tastefully decorated, with all the items you would need for two people. The romantic gite is perfect for a couple with a very comfortable double bed, good kitchen area with all the equipment you’ll need, including a very welcome good size fridge. The shower is exceptional, which is not the norm based on other places I’ve stayed. Tricia is a wonderful host, greeting us personally on arrival and waking early to see us off on departure. Tricia has lived there for four years and is the perfect person to offer help or advice, with great local knowledge that you won’t find in guide books. The gite has full use of the pool, which you have private use of during your stay. The views across the vineyards from your sun lounger, along with a wonderful climate and discreet hosts make this a perfect place for a relaxing break. Parking on the gravel driveway beside the gite is a huge bonus, no long walks with luggage...

We stayed with Tricia and Andy at La Porcherie whilst attending a friends wedding - could (literally) not wish for better hosts. The Gite itself had everything you need and more your wouldn’t expect from a selection of coffee pods, wireless speaker, beach towels - just everything. As hosts, Tricia and Andy were superb, wonderfully friendly, helpful, generous and we very quickly felt like part of the family. It was the generosity that was beyond what you’d normally expect, nothing too much trouble! Would recommend to anyone...

A beautiful place to stay to unwind. Trica and Andy are very welcoming and accommodating . The Gite is very homely and has all modern amenities. we had the greatest time and felt very much at home and relaxed. The pool was amazing aswell as the views which are spectacular. As soon as we arrived we were extremely overwhelmed with everything and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We can't wait to come back.
