At first the positive points: the rooms are very good (very clean, possibility to completely darken the room, comfortable beds; very quiet); employees are very friendly and also speak really good English (can not be taken for granted in France); very quiet and green environment (nice to take a walk; perfect for traveling with dogs).|Now some things to improve: breakfast needs some improvement (scrambled eggs came out of the oven and did taste quite badly; no real glasses and cups only paper cups; tables weren’t set and some still dirty from the breakfast the day before; waiter shouldn’t be sitting in the backyard smoking when guests arrive; maybe some more choices overall since France is known for its very good cheese; cornflakes seemed like they were from the days before); overall environment needs improvement: everything seems so out of place (some chairs just standing around in a small tent, a slide for children just put into a random corner, park itself needs some “cleaning”; maybe some nice flowers or bushes; breakfast room needs some attention maybe some nice decoration or curtains|I could still write so many more things but I need to end my list somewhere.|All in all we were quite happy with our stay and the improvements mentioned above should only reflect my personal experience and be more of a recommendation for the hotel owners than a judgement about my stay. DO NOT BOOK HERE I had an absolute nightmare experience at this hotel. After a long day of work I came back to my room hoping to get some rest only to find it flooded due to a leak. While I understand that maintenance issues can happen anywhere the way the staff handled it was completely unacceptable.

When I went to the reception for help, the lady at the desk told me she would call a technician. I explained that this would take too long and asked for another room — but she just told me the hotel was full and offered no real solution.

I had no choice but to pack up all my things and find another hotel late at night. Even worse, after my company called to complain about how poorly the situation was handled, the same lady who refused to help suddenly offered me another room when I checked out far too late to make it right.

I will never stay here again and I strongly advise others to avoid this place if you expect even basic customer service when...
