There are 2 kinds of hotels I really like : the spoil-yourself 5 star luxury hotels and the small authentic hotels that really reflect the local values, style, identity, history. Lou Cantou in Chanac belongs to this 2nd category. You immediately feel at home thanks to the kind welcome that you receive upon arrival. Although only a 2 star hotel, everything is there : wifi, tv with lots of channels, breakfast, lunch, dinner possibilities, ... The rooms are very clean. What I appreciated the most, is that the staff is "real" : simply being at the service of their visitors and doing it from the heart. Really...

Sometimes you love to eat - off the beaten track, typical French cuisine but not always following... Michelin...|Go there! And enjoy! A great cuisine, a setvice from the heart! And maybe you spend a night!|We only had a superb lunch there!!|Excellent terrine, good quality meat and - feeling the best of France!|We love these restaurants!
