Bastide du Cosset Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in Mirande

The Hospitalet du Cosset is located at the man square of Barcelonne du Gers. It hosts for pilgrims on the chemin de Compostelle as well as offering chambre d'hotes. The house is very nice. The room we had on the first floor was more than spacy, it did also include a living area. The bathroom was similar, very spacy. Although most is old furniture, it fitted very well. Outside the house , they have installed a new garden with a new swimmingpool and also a jacuzzi. There are lots of sun chairs for a relaxed time available. Unfortunately at the beginning of October, the water was already a bit chilly. ||We also had dinner, which was very nice and tasty. The breakfast table was perfectly setup and decorarted and included homemade jams. She also offered a cream cake, prepared the night before .... excellent. I would recommend the Hospitalet du Cosset not only for pilgrims, but also for staying a couple of days exploring the wonderful southwest of France ..... you...

What a find this was - situated in a sympathetically restored maison de Notaire the guest rooms in the main house were spacious, spotlessly clean and quiet. We were made incredibly welcome and, although too early in the summer to use the lovely pool, we were offered (and took up the offer) of a relaxing jacuzzi. We were given suggestions for where to eat in Air sur L'Adour and were even assisted with a phoned booking. The breakfast in the morning was one of the best we have ever enjoyed on an overnight stay - it really was superb both in quality, quantity and presentation. We would not hesitate to return or recommend...

After walking almost 16 miles - the last two hours in a sunny 85 degrees - we were delighted to arrive at the cool and comfort of this wonderful B&B. The Garland Room was spacious and beautiful; and the hot shower was fantastic. Our hosts were most welcoming and, as we requested, were able to provide our small group of 4 with a separate dinner and breakfast. They were also able to easily accommodate a late 'detail' of a vegetarian in our group; their flexibility was greatly appreciated.
