Bluets et Brimbelles — Hotel in Molsheim

Our reservation was cancelled after we informed the hosts that we have a child younger than 10. On their website nothing like this is mentioned and after reading that the only pets accepted are teddy bears one would think that the place is kids friendly. Especially during off-season when all rooms were still available this behaviour is not understandable. After reading the website we booked via booking.com making the mistake not to scroll to the very bottom of the site where the age restriction was mentioned. But who could imagine an age restriction? Nowadays that comes right after denying homosexual persons or people of colour access to a hotel. Well, we booked another accomodation where all of us and not only our money was welcome!||||To be considered: unwanted children may or in this case certainly will not become the guests...

Catherine and Thierry have a beautiful house in a stunning location which we have visited 8 times now, in summer, autumn and several times in December, each time it is special||Everything has been said before in previous reviews but we have really missed our visits in the last 2 1/2 years due to Covid, and it was so good to be back||Catherine’s meals are really tasty and it’s nice to sit around the table with different nationalities even if we can’t speak their language they can always speak English!||This time we took one of Thierry’s 2CV tours (see separate review) which was fabulous||Looking forward to our 9th visit...

Wir hatten das große Glück, eine unvergessliche Zeit im Bluets de Brimbelles verbringen zu dürfen – ein Ort, der mit so viel Liebe, Geschmack und Herzlichkeit geführt wird, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause fühlt.

Catherine und Thierry sind wunderbare Gastgeber, die uns mit offenen Armen empfangen und uns während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts mit ihrer warmen Art begleitet haben. Ihr herzlicher Empfang, ihre Liebe zum Detail und die Leidenschaft, mit der sie ihr Gästehaus führen, haben uns tief beeindruckt.

Das Frühstück war ein echtes Highlight: Mit viel Sorgfalt und Liebe zubereitet, bot es nicht nur geschmackliche Vielfalt, sondern auch eine Qualität, die man nur selten findet. Frische, regionale Produkte, hausgemachte Spezialitäten – einfach köstlich!

Die Zimmer und das gesamte Haus sind mit außergewöhnlichem Stil und viel Gespür für Ästhetik eingerichtet. Jedes Detail stimmt, alles ist durchdacht – von den gemütlichen Textilien bis hin zu den geschmackvollen Farbtönen und liebevollen Dekorationen. Man spürt in jedem Raum die persönliche Note und den Anspruch, den Gästen nur das Beste zu bieten.

Auch das Anwesen selbst ist eine wahre Oase der Ruhe und Schönheit: Umgeben von Natur, bietet es einen idealen Rückzugsort zum Entspannen und Genießen. Hier kann man wunderbar abschalten und die Seele baumeln lassen.

Wir haben die Zeit bei Catherine und Thierry in vollen Zügen genossen und freuen uns schon jetzt sehr auf ein Wiedersehen. Bluets de Brimbelles ist ein ganz besonderer Ort – ein echtes Juwel, das man am liebsten gar nicht mehr...
