August 30, 2022 stay. Wow! One of the special places my husband and I stayed at while walking the GR65/Via Podiensis from Le Puy en Velay to St. Jean Pied du Port. This place is most special - Juliette and Vincent, most welcoming. Arrived at the end of August and found this home to be perfect for a night of relaxation. Welcomed with a cold beverage; beautiful room; laundry facilities; outstanding breakfast. But mostly, it was the kindness that we will remember this remarkable bed and breakfast for. Juliette and Vincent went above and beyond to help us make train reservations from SJPP to Paris, with Vincent walking down the street to print the tickets, knowing it would be much easier for us the have physical copies. As soon as the front door closes behind you, you will feel like you entered a different world. It‘s a big and old house with a beautiful garden. Juliette and Vincent are great hosts. They are very welcoming, warm and funny. You will recognise that this is their place, they‘ve put a lot of love into it and they want to share it with you. Nous avons découvert ce lieu niché derrière une façade joliment décorée d’une fresque.. Lorsque nos hôtes (Juliette et Vincent : deux belles personnes 😍) ouvrent la magnifique porte en bois, nous avons eu la surprise d’admirer une demeure extrêmement joliment décorée de vieux objets et meubles chinés avec goût et passion . Le « Jardin sur l’eau » est un régal pour la détente et le partage : le ruissellement de l’eau se mêle aux chants des oiseaux ainsi qu’aux rosiers si délicieusement odorants ❤️ La chambre réservée par nos enfants et cousine pour fêter nos 20 ans de mariage ne nous a pas déçu.. bien au contraire : un lit immense où la nuit fût reposante, une balnéo pour un moment détente et une attention particulière pour fêter ce joli souvenir : bouquet de roses, pétales de fleurs … A notre réveil, Juliette et Vincent vous propose le plus adorable des petits déjeuner (yaourt et confitures maison accompagnés de pain et viennoiseries chauds, sans oublier les boissons chaudes et froides..)
