A properly-priced village hotel that provides everything you need for a comfortable stop on your journey. It’s only a short way from the motorway, has parking outside and the staff give you a warm welcome. The rooms, currently undergoing a successful renovation, are comfortable and quiet, while air-conditioning are provided in some. Breakfast is excellent. Our first impressions were not too encouraging; we arrived at 4-46 to find the hotel closed until 5, and then squeezed into the scruffy and limited parking. However, our doubts proved to be totally unfounded. The helpful management team provided fans for the room on a sweltering heatwave evening and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, providing a good value breakfast, It is a slight hindrance that there is no restaurant but the Restaurant La Gare next door...
