One word for HOMAIR and the 2 women that are working their for Homair...... !!DISASTER!!!
I would like to address this review to Paul (receptionist at this camping) he was the only one that tried to help us in a friendly and professional way.
We paid for our Holiday via Homair and had one of their bungalows at camping Nouvelle Floride. We had chosen one of their XL Comfort bungalows but it was anything but XL, very little space. The drying rack outside was broken, the mattress had yellow stains and everywhere their were ANTS!!, In the beds in the fridge, literally everywhere.
We went with all this info to the 2 women that are working their for Homair and i have never experienced in my life such unfriendly, rude and unprofessional behaviour to a customer.
They told us that we just had to accept the broken drying rack and that they could not give us another one, which is not nice when you also have 2 little kids.
For the ants problem they gave us a spray and told us that we had to discover where they come from, they did not even want to take a look at it!! That meant also that i had to spray a toxic spray inside the fridge (because ants were also crawling there) where we have to keep our food!!
They just did not want to help in any kind of way, so we went to the reception of the camping (not of Homair), and there we met Paul and what a different experience that was!! Great guy, friendly and he tried to help us and called the 2 women from Homair and finally they were going to take a look at our bungalow.
When we walked back to our bungalow we met these 2 women and 1 of them had another kind of ant spray in his hand, she told us that it was solved but she did that in a very arrogant and unfriendly way, unbelievable!!
Finally we still had those bugs in our bungalow but we accepted it and decided to stay there for the night because my kids and wife were also stressed and tired of the long travel.
We had a holiday booked for 6 days but finally we decided to leave the camping and the bungalow of Homair, because during the first day at the camping other incidents happened. We went back to home with 2 little kids that were looking forward to a nice holiday.
Hereby i would like to ask Paul if he can try to contact Homair and ask if he could help us in getting some kind of refund. I tried myself to get in contact with Homair several times but everytime i had to wait at least 20 minutes and then they disconnect!
My customer number is I2037052
What happened to us was unacceptable and we we will wait for a reply...

On arrival we made our way to reception (not the best experience). Very rude, dismissive and unhelpful.
After checking in we made our way to the pitch we booked - (front row beach pitch). On arrival at the pitch, we’ll let’s just say it wasn’t very luxurious. It was basically sand dunes. Uneven, pure sand so fine you just sink, and we did.
So we headed back to the unhelpful reception staff to source another pitch. Now they only speak broken English due to being on a lower grade pitch. No refund no help. Given a pity of paper and told to use one of the pitches with a number. Also this site has 3 all next to each other with beach garden just on the corner (nearly booked). We were not even given the option to move site - cheaper but better sea front pitches.
So after booking a sea view pitch (at a premium) we ended up a few rows away with no view. But you didn’t sink on the pitch.
The pitches need some work. They have been positioned to make money not give you an enjoyable stay.
The site itself is nice, other staff members in the entertainment and beverage areas are more friendly.
Facilities were clean, however lights could maybe be left on or put on a timer ? Showers should be free flowing water. The water is either scolding hot or lukewarm. But you get a shower. The pool was fun, little run down, could do with a good hoover and slides could be smoother.
Shop was stocked well, snack station was handy. Restaurant was ok with a Limited menu.
Overall this site feels as if it was abandoned during covid and no one has been bothered to get it right, this seems to be the feel across all sites.
Sad because this could of been a beautiful place. Management really need to get a handle on things. Start with customer service then get your...
Read moreVisited Nouvelle Floride as a couple (26y/o) for almost 2 weeks and had a great time. Location is amazing, beautiful beach. Don't walk to far on the beach or you are on the nudist area ;) But along the campsite, also at beach garden, no naked people. You can use the pools and spa of the neighbouring two campings (beach garden and charlemagne). Very nice, but we felt we didn't need it. Adult pool is amazing and a MUST if you come without children. Very peaceful, clean and quiet pool and no screaming children. Lifeguard checks every hour if there are no sneaky kids that have walked in. All very nice! Shops on camping are good, fresh bread every day. Enough options for fastfood but there's also a traiteur with more special food (paella, quiche, roasted chicken) Friendly staff Very big pitches! We were on second row from the beach with a tent. Enough space. You hear the sea when waking up but will have the music from entertainment shows till at least midnight. We didn't mind. But maybe that's not for everyone Entertainment shows were OK. Some funny, some not so much. We think this is normal. Magic show was great! And all the children looked to be having a great time. It is a big camping but we had no trouble with it being to busy.
Only bad thing we really didn't like were the bathroom facilities. Showers were often dirty with for example sand, mud or garbage. Facilities are only cleaned with water hose. They never smelled clean! Edges of the shower were black. And this is one of the better bathroom facilities. Toilets next to the plaza always have a floor that is flooded with water, very disgusting. Also the dishwashing area was always dirty and smelled like the sewer.
If they would mind the hygiene better, they would definitely...
