We came to Laudun to attend a friend’s wedding, and Villa Montesquieu is just 3 km from the venue, so very convenient.|Because of the air controller strike, one of our flights got cancelled, so we ended up driving to Laudun a day earlier than expected. Fortunately Villa M was able to offer us a room that night, and also gave us perfect instructions on how to access the property late at night. The room and bed was so welcoming and comfortable after a 7 hour drive from Paris. The next day we moved into our reserved apartment, which was spacious, well furnished and had a full kitchen. Since our daughter, her husband and their 15 month old son were also traveling with us, (they had their own separate room) - it was lovely to have the extra space to lounge around in, and the kitchen to make breakfast and whatever else the baby needed.|Important to note that all the guest rooms had air conditioning. The waiters were two nice guys, but very unexperienced. We first got our red wine when we were half way through our main course.
The dessert was also strange. It was some kind of mousse, but it tasted like it was made from some sort of pre-made powder from the supermarket.
I would not recommend this...

The problem with our stay was that the highly regarded restaurant was closed both nights and the wifi was non existent except if you used your device in the small reception area. This meant negotiating the small country roads to dine and spending time in the reception area trying to find and book...
