Maison Guy is a magical place. We rearranged our whole southern France trip around staying longer at Maison Guy and the incredible surroundings (vineyards abound, Uzès best of the cities we visited). I stay in hotels >90 nights per year and this is now my favorite. Comfortable, quiet, every detail well thought-out. We had dinner one of our nights here and it was exemplary—better and more charming than Michelin star dinners elsewhere and our favorite by far on a week through the south of France (and the best value). They have local, excellent, well-priced wine by the bottle and glass. Charlotte’s breakfast is one of a kind—the best I’ve had at a hotel anywhere. She makes the most amazing spread, all homemade or from the area. While everything is superb, maybe the most underrated aspect of this gem of a hotel is the location. We read a lot about Avignon, Aix, etc. All nice, surely, but the region between the hotel and Uzès abounds with the most charming scenes and vineyards. The place is full of birds and flowers. We could have explored for much longer and hope to on another trip. Charlotte and Paul (and little Andrea) have made something magical here and we are so grateful to have found them! We hope we come back before it is impossible to book a room in this exceptional place.

The most precious gem!!! It feels like a Disney movie could be made inspired by here. It’s located in a village wrapped in vineyards, absolutely perfect to drive around on small idyllic roads (especially to Uzès). The hotel is serene, where birds of all sorts sing and it’s all you will hear. The garden is cozy and smells like flowers. There’s meaning and heritage in every detail. The room is beautiful, and all the best quality—I’m obsessed with the linens! We fell in love so hard that we changed our travel itinerary to extend the stay. Yet, somehow the most impressive part is the food and wine. So much so I’d drive from Paris just to have dinner or breakfast here. Everything is either made in-house or from local small producers (who they elegantly reference in every meal). Charlotte, Paul, and their baby Andrea are so kind and inspiring, truly impeccable hosts! Thank you so much for having us! I’m sure we’ll always remember you and this place dearly ♥️

Charlotte is super friendly and helpful. Her place is truly a little oasis, very secluded, comfortable and peaceful. Plus, her cupcakes alone are worth going for. Everything was excellent. Genuinely one of the best B&B places we've ever been to. Can't...
