My critical husband said this overnight stop was "perfect". That means 11 out of 10 for him! I would also give it 11 out of 10 if there had been a full-length mirror in the bedroom. I know - very picky! The bed was big and the most comfortable we've slept in for ages, shower was good and the breakfast fresh and appetising, including eggs from their own chickens. Gwen speaks excellent English and her husband a little. They have restored the chateau beautifully and we wish them all he luck in the world for their wedding business. Beautiful chateau 30 minutes from Nantes Airport and great for the night before we flew on holiday. ||Hosts were charming and Gwen speaks excellent English and was able to recommend a good restaurant for us for dinne - Peau de Vache in Orvault ||Beautiful room, very spacious and with tea and coffee facilities which was just what we needed after a long car journey. ||The chateau has been tastefully decorated, and we would highly recommend and would definitely return if we need to fly from...

Beautifully renovated Château with very comfortable, modern rooms in a historic rural surrounding.
Gwen and Guillaume are excellent hosts and they have a very friendly dog (Golden Retriever) along with a number of other animals on site (we saw chickens, cats, sheep, goats and horses) so they are 'pet friendly'!
It was great for a short stay in March, but it would be fantastic for a longer visit in the summer.
The price was very reasonable for the standard of accommodation....
