La clairière de Verbamont, Camping & Cabanes — Hotel in Neufchâteau

We were looking for a calm and pieceful campsite where dogs are allowed and we found it. The campsite was very pretty and clean. There was very specious so you ca' do your own thing withour disturbing thz 'neighbours'. Dogs are allowed which is great! The toilet and showers are very clean as well. The water is nice and warm. We were camping with our tents but you can also rent cabins or bring a camper. There is an outdoor kitchen available to do you dishes or prepare dinner. There are refrigerators available which is great if you only bring a tent. The first evening their was a pizza night. The owner Christophe made his own pizza dough and you can choose your topping. We were here for the 2nd time and our stay was as splendid as the first one. Wonderful are the care, generosity and eye to detail that Christophe, the owner, puts in this permaculture based campside. Handmade farytail houses of solely natural elements, hand made furniture, handmade campfire furniture, hand made wooden family games to play in the colourful garden, flowers, fruit trees, rabbits, chicken, .... there is so much to discover here. We also love the cosy outdoor kitchen with a herbal garden for tea. For those who prefer not to cook: Christophe prepares breakfast and diner that please tastebuds and souls with ripe ingredients picked from the permaculture garden. Green, quiet camping with well kept vegetable and flower garden, where three rabbits and two ducks walk around.All people seem happy, especially the young children who easily find each other for playing on the grass. There is much room for each tent and there are no cars allowed, spoiling the fun. There are two or three fireplaces where people meet and there is a common kitchen with a fridge, oven and microwave. ||Christophe is a perfect host: he knows many guests by name and delivers the incredibly good meals that he and his crew prepares at the tent (during covid-time).
