Our family of four spent a fabulous six nights, albeit sizzling due to a heatwave, at Belair le Camping in one of the Belle tents. You couldn't ask for better hosts in Laura and Ben. Incredibly helpful in every way. The facilities on site were brilliant; a fridge for each tent, clean showers and toilets, wash station with washing liquid & tea towels provided, help yourself to coffee & tea, honesty shop with good supplies and a bread delivery each morning. The pool was a lifesaver and due to the size of the site, we were able to use the pool without sharing each time. Laura and Ben have a very down to earth way of providing advice of local attractions which we really appreciated. If you are looking to visit this beautiful area and want a wonderfully warm, relaxed and safe environment to stay, than Belair is most definitely worth a look. Highly...

We stayed for two nights in May 2019, while on a house hunting trip to the Dordogne||||Our 5 metre bell tent was clean with a super comfy bed, all the facilities you would expect from a good quality campsite and so much more !||Lots of really nice quaint touches, a great communal "Lounge" area, with sofas, pool table, pots pans etc etc etc..||And with fresh bread delivery to order in the mornings too !||||The owners Laura & Ben were always on hand, but never in your face - there when needed, and always smiling and helpful.||||My other half has always avoided camping, but even she was converted...well to glamping at least !||The surrounding area is beautiful and unspoilt - a real must see is the charming town of Brantome about 5km away||||See you on our...

We came across Laura and Ben via the the Soul Pad website where we had purchased our 5metre Bell tent from. The Glamping site offers a few pitches for those with tents so feeling a kindred spirit we ventured to France in June and we were welcomed to Belair le Camping and made to feel a home from home. Greeted by Laura, who showed us around and introduced our daughter to the local resident chickens! A back to Nature feel but with the added bonus of good facilities and the personal touches that were everywhere you looked. Laura and Ben were always available if needed, easy to chat with, gave great advice of places to visit and eat. There is a fantastic lake not far away perfect for a paddle or swim! Thank you Laura and Ben we had a great first...

100% recommend this site. An idyllic, quiet and perfectly small Glamping site, where we could park our campervan too. The new owners, Calista & Yan, were always available and extremely helpful and friendly to every one....we made 2 new friends in them. There's a small pool, table tennis and a communal area with sofas for guests to relax in. The free WiFi was good enough to keep my teenager happy too! They also have 4 chickens and 2 cats that freely roam the site and cause no bother at all. Toilet/facilities were good and clean... only issue for the less abled people could be the small slope to gain access from camping area.

French and English owners. Cutlery, charcoal, BBQ, and plates provided and some food and drink available for purchase. Swimming pool on site. Lovely relaxing woodland area to chill out and explore. Games provided for kids. Safe space to run around. Bathrooms and toilets were clean and well maintained. The bed and mattresses were comfortable and there was electricity in the tent. It was a lovely experience that was great for adults, children and a dog. Would thoroughly recommend.

From the (slightly chaotic!) moment we got there, hosts Yan and Calista could not do more for us and the site itself was just perfect. Lots to do on-site (pool, walks, games etc) and in the area (Brantome, in particular, is absolutely beautiful). Child friendly and a great spot for young families. Our three-year-old was the only youngster when we stayed, but it was before UK schools broke up for the summer. Highly recommend and would definitely go back.
