ibis Saint Paul Trois Chateaux — Hotel in Nyons

Hotel is in a commercial park in the middle of nowhere, curiously close to a nuclear plant. I rented it since we were doing a couple nights stop in a long trip. I booked thru their website and chose to have breakfast, but it seems that the website is wrong, so when I checked in they charged me an additional 50 euros for the breakfasts the website didn't charge. Booking.com was cheaper after this increase. The next morning we went to have breakfast at 9:40 and there wasn't any baguettes or croissants (in France! come on!). I asked the lady that was tending the breakfast and she told me unpolitely it was because breakfast was until 10 am. I told her it wasn't 10am yet and that I wanted bread and croissants. Go figure. The room was tiny and didn't have a minibar. The family room was just a regular room with a sofa bed (I think I could have booked it as a double room and just have the children sleep on it). It was too pricey for what it was. I don't think I'll Accor or Ibis...

Located far from towns, U need a rental car. Newbuild fresh Ibis. Rooms are, soaceeffective, like new hotels are. Meaning "small". Luggagestow, just has to be on floor. Not so nice (risk bedbugs etc - however that was not the case!! - but however - stowing abouve the carpet is better and I prefer that). No fridge, no handtowel, no coffe/hot water machine, no glasses - only papercups in toilet, no English TV channels. Frindly helpful staff. Fresh cold breakfast (only scrambled and "cooked" bacon as warm alternativ food.) Restaurant at evening is doing the job. Restaurant has high as well as low results regarging quality. We spent a week there to celebrate my aunt's 80th birthday in Bolene. She recommended it to us and we loved everything about it. First of all, the staff was amazing, courteous, very professional and always there to accommodate with your needs. The rooms were spacious, cleaned, and with AC which is a big plus in August. We ate several times at the hotel and the food was delicious. It was the perfect location for us because the party was near by. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for something nice. Also they have an outdoor pool and a gated fence.
